The ringing of my phone echoed in to the large expanse of the room I was currently sitting in. Letting out a heavy sigh I rolled over and quickly glanced at the time.
'04:32'
Frankly I'm used to receiving calls at the most inconvenient time possible, due to my constant insomnia I rarely slept. Many may consider that a curse, I did for a large part of my life, until I realised how much time that gave me to improve myself.
I was due to go to the gym in around half an hour anyway. I knew the attempts to have sleep whisk me away would be fruitless. The attempt was almost laughable.
"Storme, you have a new assignment. It's an important one." The voice of my boss boomed through the once peaceful room.
"Mhm.. who is it?" I rolled my eyes slightly at her words.
Every assignment I got was important, in my agency I was considered the best. Training was not something I took lightly and that definitely worked in my favour. I couldn't help but analyse the rushed tone of my bosses voice. Usually ever so calm and collected, this was quite a change.
"I'm serious this is important. You have to keep a close eye on her at all times. Her family have recently received some threats that have been unfortunately specific and therefore require some drastic action. You need to guard her like no other." My boss, Anderson, stressed heavily from the phone.
"Well... who is it."
"The princess of Spain, Princess Leonor."

Sighing, I relax my posture ever so slightly, soaking up what will probably be my last moments of peace.
My job granted me many things in life, it gave me a purpose, it gave me an objective and it gave me an outlet. Though it has its benefits, my constant unease definitely wasn't one of those. One of the reasons I am at the top of my agency, and many consider the world, was because I was constantly scanning, constantly analysing. Body language always plays a role, though it should never be seen as definite it always gives good indicators.
"King Felipe asked us to find the best." Anderson said beside me.
I turned to her quickly. Her blonde hair fell over her white blouse gently, black glasses framed her mature face. Anderson had been my boss for a while now. She was one of the few people i trusted.
"And that was me?" I asked in disbelief.
"Yes, yes it was." She smiled softly as she glanced at me before refocusing on the road.
"How long is this assignment going to last?" I asked after a moment of silence.
"Until the King has decided his daughter is no longer under extreme danger." Anderson replied softly.
Nodding, I turned my head to watch the building pass buy. I always held a special appreciation for Spanish architecture.
"I think you'll like her."
I turned around quickly, her words catching me off guard.
"It doesn't matter if I do or not, I care about keeping her safe." I replied swiftly to her strange comment.
"Do me a favour, Storme." Anderson said, seemingly unaffected by my response.
I huffed slightly at her desire this conversation, before giving her a slight nod to continue.
"Go easy on her." Anderson, the woman of many talents, logic clearly not being one of them said.
I shook my head at her nonsensical question before returning to gaze out the window.
