Lilly had enough of math the next day and was looking forward to a nice long bath and then five hours of anime as she walked home dreaming of all the anime she could watch .

"Hey sweet heart wait up ." boys behind her shouted . She walked a bit faster  then they surrounded her .

"We were talking to you ." Carter said shaking his head .

"leave me alone Carter you fool I don't want to buy whatever you're selling ."She was trying so hard not to kick his useless face .

"Let's go out ."Carter teased 

"Over  my dead body ." she said

"I'll just use force then .I need a new GF and you look single ."

Just then Justin ran towards Carter 'My hero .' Lilly thought .Justin was going to punch the heck out of Carter then he steeped on a banana pill and fell in front of Carter . Lilly wanted to laugh but she collected herself . Carter laughed until tears came  out . 

"Loser you think you can ..." Carter didn't finish  he was on the ground someone kick in the head real hard . The boy who did landed swiftly it was Mikey he was coming from registering  at their school he looked even better then Lucas .Lilly was left surprised Justin just left running away from there he had just been embarrassed. Mikey started walking away and Lilly followed 

"Who are you , What did you think you were doing mister ?" Lilly asked so fast he barely heard her .

"I'm Mikey I saved you're butt and you're supposed to thank me not interview me ." Mikey said he sounded really cool . She couldn't believe her ears 

"I didn't ask you to 'superman' I could have saved myself ."

"Looked like it .You looked pissed but you were so helpless ."

"Do you know who I am Milky ?"

"Damn please don't tell me I just saved the president's daughter who was about to be taken for ransom by three weak high school bullies . Listen brat I don't care who you are you could be the queen of Egypt for all I care ." he said walking forward ."And it's Mikey ."

"You're rude so rude man anyway you do karate or something ?" She asked 

"Everything . So queen of Egypt what's you name ?" Mikey asked 

"Lilly better known as the blood princess ." 

"Isn't that supposed to be a secret why would I believe you ." Mikey said

"How else do you think I know and wait how do you know about the blood princess ?" 

"I-I know a lot about mafias that's all , Listen if you're really the blood princess you shouldn't go around telling people it's dangerous and I imagined you more serious ."

"Chill safety department I've only told you and I'm not afraid of danger it's my middle name any way I can't be serious all the time can I otherwise I'd be easy to spot ." She said as entered the gates  to her expensive apartment he entered too .

"Where are you going ?"She asked him with a raised eyebrow 

"About to ask you the same question ." he said while they got on the elevator

"Too bad I asked first ." She rolled her eyes

"I live on the third floor genius ." He said with equal sarcasm 

"I live on the fourth floor the last one you're my new neighbor cool that means I have a study buddy ."

"Great ." he rolled his eyes " Look I'm going to your-" he was interrupted by Lilly's ringing she took it out .

"Hello Einstein is that you ?"

"What was it you wanted to tell me in the school hall ?" He asked still mad at what she'd done .

"Well I wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out that's all ." She said . She didn't believe he called  her she had a smile on her face .

"You do know I have a girlfriend right ?" he said  he sounded so sweet . Her heart shattered

"D-duh of course I know ." she lied "I didn't mean it like just you and me I meant it like you, me , my boyfriend your girlfriend alright ?" she said trying to maintain a normal  voice 

"Sure Friday night  see ya ." he hang up she looked at Mikey 

"You're my boyfriend now !" she shouted 

"Why did you lie I get where you're coming from but come on dude ." Mikey said 

"Look Milky are you in or in ."

"It's Mikey geez you don't even know my name . And I'm pretty sure it's are you in or out weirdo." Mikey said "I'll help you under one condition ."

"Sure what is it ."

"Don't go prying into my personal life ." his voice was deeper than before for the first time in a long while Lilly felt a shiver down her spin .
