To be fair we could do all these
But I'd rather be out in Leeds
Could go Sunbridge Wells
In the heart of Bradford City,
Or visit Hebden Bridge
And prance around like a Hippie,
Maybe mosey to Marsden
Where the views are oh so pretty,
Yorkshire's just full of possibilities
But let's just go out in Leeds
Surely you fancy Scarborough
A haven by the sea,
Heard it's nice in Harrogate
Might be could for you and me,
Or hang on, Salt's Mill
That's the place to be!
But only one place can fulfil my needs
Damn right, it's good old Leeds
A jewel in Northern England
Fit for Kings and Queens,
Deep in God's own Country
A city full of dreams,
TransPennine, National Express
Get here by any means,
Old age, middle, teens
Everybody love Leeds!
