A/N here's part 2 :)

TW

Taylor stumbled down the street, her arms wrapped around her body as tears streamed down her cheeks. She didn't have her phone, a coat; not even proper shoes, just in her slippers. She wasn't sure where to go. All her friends that lived near were out of town, and she had no money.

He wouldn't listen. He wouldn't listen, and he hated her now. She had tried to tell him, tried to defend herself, but he wouldn't fucking listen.

She only had herself to blame. She should've told him before, she shouldn't have been so terrified about what Matty would do to her. Travis could've helped, all of this could've been avoided.

Or she could've fought harder, screamed louder. Surely someone near that alleyway could've heard her, could've helped her. It was all her fault.

Travis's hand clamped over his mouth as he read the last sentence, again and again and again. She had been raped. His girlfriend had been raped and he had kicked her out of the house with nothing more than the clothes she was wearing. Fuck. He was going to kill that man.

As quickly as he could be grabbed his car keys and his phone, his hands shaking. It was pitch black outside, the air cold. She would be okay, right? She had to be okay.

He got into his car, strapping himself in then pulling out the driveway. His headlights flooded the road as he scanned the streets, praying for any sign of her. he wasn't sure where she could've gone and so he just drove round, hoping that, by chance, he'd find her.

He felt like the worst person alive as he scouted those streets, his heart beating in his ears. A man had fucking raped her, and all he'd done was kick her out the house.

Almost an hour had passed and he was slowly giving up, but wouldn't admit to himself that he was. She would be okay, she had to.

Just then he spotted something ahead of him on the right side of the street. A figure with a build like a man, a dark jacket on with the hood pulled up. He drove past slowly, watching the figure out the corner of his eye.

And there she was. Down the street from the man, curled up on a bench by the pavement. Her head was down, her arms wrapped around her shaking body. Travis's heart skipped a beat as his brain registered that he had actually found her, that she was actually okay.

He quickly scouted the street for somewhere to park, but all the pavements were full. He swore under his breath, not keen about the idea of leaving his car in the middle of the road. Pulling up on the corner he opened the door and leapt out, slamming it shut.

He hurried round the corner, not able to see Taylor yet due to the lack of light. However, as he got closer he could just about make out a figure standing over the bench. Taylor had her head up, and although Travis couldn't see her expression he could tell that she was uncomfortable.

"Hey!" He shouted, causing the man to turn at the sound of his voice. "What the fuck are you doing?!"
"And who are you?" The man snarled as Travis got closer.
"I'm her boyfriend. And who are you?" he growled, quickly glancing at Taylor who looked terrified.
"Evidently not a very good boyfriend, leaving her here alone" the man snorted, before stalking off.

"Trav" Taylor sniffed, looking up at him. "I'm sorry" Travis's heart immediately broke as he rushed forward, enveloping her shaking body in his arms.
"No, I'm sorry. I'm so so so sorry baby, I didn't know. I'm so sorry, so so sorry" he apologised over and over, his lips pressed into her hair as she sobbed into his chest.

After a couple of minutes he pulled away, his hands resting on her shoulders as he scanned over her teary face.
"Lets get you home baby, you're freezing" he gently pulled her up, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as he led her to the car.

He helped her in, strapping her seatbelt then getting in the other side. The car ride home was silent, his hand resting on her thigh. The car came to a halt outside their house, but neither of them made a move to go inside.

"Taylor" Travis said, breaking the silence. She looked to him, her eyes wide. "I am so so sorry, what I did was not okay under any circumstances"
"It's okay" Taylor sniffed, leaning in for a hug.
"It's not baby, and if I ever act like that again you have full permission to slap me as hard as possible" he said, his arms wrapped tightly around her. Taylor let out a watery laugh, causing Travis to smile.

"And baby?" Travis said.
"Yeah?" Taylor's voice was quiet, muffled by Travis's chest.
"You know you can tell me anything, right? I just want to help you, want to look after you. And even if someone threatens you, still tell me; I can protect you"

"I love you, thank you" Taylor mumbled.
"I love you too, so so much, more than you could ever know" Travis whispered into her hair.
