The next morning we finally caught up to Axel and Rose. They came by the cabin with gas and we were finally able to get our vehicle on the road. Luther and Max watched us from the porch.

"Thank you again for letting us stay the night." Jasmine says.

"Any time. You all be safe now."

"We will."

"Bye Mr.Luther!" The boys state in unison as they jogged off. Max wagged his tail in excitement, following behind the boys. I didn't want them playing with the dog since they just took a shower, but I don't want to stop their fun either.

"Thank you, Luther. If you want to visit Belower Town you can. Or keep in touch with me and if there's anything you want or need you can call."

"Belower Town. Hm." He took the piece of paper from my hand with my desk number and work email.

"It won't disappoint you. I promise."

"We'll see about that. And take care of the ole' "wife"." He teases.

"I-I will." Wife. The more I hear it or the more the term is brought up, the more the image of us being a family pops up in my head.

Jasmine and I left with the boys and caught up to the car. The boys instantly went to check on the girls in the other vehicle, explaining what they've encountered thus far.

Axel gave me a look and shook his head.

"Had fun?" He asks. I didn't want to think about anything but my mind failed me.

"Yeah...I am."

"Good to know. Everyone saddle up! Time to get this show back on the road. Jasmine, Rose and the girls are riding together. Us boys are taking the bandwagon." He explains. "I think we should head out for brunch, how does that sound?"

I looked at Jasmine and she shrugged. "Sounds good to me."

"Good. Boys! Flirt later, let's go."

They complained but followed orders. Rose gave Jasmine a light tap on the shoulder, having her finally look away from me. I waved her bye and she returned it. Jasmine and Rose got in the front seats as the girls stayed seated at the back.

"Damn Asher, you'll see her at brunch again."

I followed him to our car and took the passenger seat as he drove.

"You boys having fun?" I ask looking back at them.

"Yeah!" Ashton and Amper exclaims. My eyes drift to Allen. He's still so silent.

"Allen?" He looked at me. "What's wrong? You've been quiet ever since we got to the cabin." He said nothing. "Allen." Still no answer.

"Are you okay?" Ashton asks him.

"Yeah what's wrong Al?" Amper asks gazing over. Al, I've never heard them call Allen Al for short. I think it was improvement.

"I...I want you to marry Jasmine." No stutter. Allen said it wasn't fear that sets off his stutter, even if I beg to differ. I heard a grin from Axel.

"He can't marry her silly. Mom is coming back and

"N-no she's not! S-stop saying that! Mom's gone...who cares."

"Why do you keep saying that mom isn't coming back? Idiot!" Amper reached over and smacked him. Allen, one not for fighting as much as his brothers, hit back.

"Stop it!" Ashton screams. "Stop it!" The car came to an abrupt stop. I got out, rushing over to the back door. I pulled it open and pulled Allen back as Axel held Amper. Ashton is in the middle crying with his knees up to his chest.
