Rory's POV
Finally after a five hour car ride I was outside the studio
Breathe
I walked into the building
I was super nervous to be honest
Over the few days I had talked to some of the cast over phone
But never in person
I looked around the entrance area
There was the same lady as before at the audition
She is sitting at the front desk
"Hi, I'm here to-" I try to say but of course she interrupts me
"Name?" She asks with a frown on her face
"Uh Lorelei June, but you can call me Rory" I stutter
The lady's frown turns into a fake smile
"Second room to the left" she says sweetly "it's a pleasure to meet you Rory!"
Yeah sure
I give her a smile
"Thank you"I say before walking down the hall
When I get to the room I hesitate to open the door
Breathe and focus
I take a deep breath
And walk in
There is a few seats in the room
And a cute blond haired boy sitting up down
He looks annoyed or stressed maybe
He looks up and notices me
"What are you doing here?" He says coldly
"Excuse me?" I say shocked
He looks me up and down
"How did you get this part?" He says now standing up
This kid is a jerk!
Is everyone in Hollywood a brat?
"I tried out" I say trying to seem unbothered
"Well of course you did?" He says like I'm dumb
"Geez what's with the attitude" I mutter
"Nothing just amazed how someone like you could get this role" he says taking a step closer to me
"I'm so close to punching you right now" I mutter
"Well than go ahead" the blond boy says Taking another step towards me
I back up a bit when I realize how close are faces are
Just then the door Bursts open behind me
I quickly turn around
There Rick Riordan with a boy and a girl around me and blondies age
"Ahh glad you two have finally met" Rick Says"it's good for the two love birds to meet before the rest don't you think?"
Love birds?
What did he mean by that
Wait does that mean....
I froze
"Wait your playing Percy?" I say turning around to face the blond boy
"Your playing Laila?" He asks me equally shocked
I nod my head
"So..." said the girl next to Rick "I'm Leah, and you must be Lorelei!"
She takes a step toward me
"I'm playing the role AnnaBeth" leah says with a smile
"You can call me Rory" I say calmly
She gives me another smile
"We are going to be best friends I can tell already" Leah says
I smile at her
"I have the finally finalized script" says a lady with blue glasses walking into the room
Her hair is in a bun and she has a dark blue suit that match her glasses
"Hi I'm Linda" the blue glasses lady says to me "I have already met everyone but you, we are so glad to find someone perfect for the role of Laila! I do have some small things to discuss with you later"
I smile and nod at her
"Can you tell Ruth to send the rest of the cast in a bit late, I want these four to get to know each other first" Rick says
"Of course" says Linda before leaving
"Can everyone pull up a chair and please sit down in a circle " Rick says
We do as he says
I pull my chair up next to Leah
Blondie pulls his chair up on the other side of mine
Of course
"All I want you guys to do is say one fun fact about you, your role and of course your name" Rick says
"Easy enough" Blondie mutters
"Lorelei, you can start us off" Rick says
Breathe
Focus
Stay calm
I stand up tall
"I'm playing the role of laila" I try to say with a smile "oh and You can call me Rory"
