Blood Moon

Chapter 3

21 minutes later everyone is gathered by the entrance of the school. Rylan and Aydn look in the school window and see the blood. The paramedics drag Jayden's dead body into the ambulance. Aydn looked like he was going to puke. "Dude what happened." Wondered Rylan.  "Another victim of the blood moon," Aydn replied. "Wait what's the blood moon?" Hannah asked him.
"Find Tyler and bring him to my house," said Aydn, "I'll tell you there."
They all make it to the house. "'The Blood Moon' it's the rarest time to exist." Aydn says, "Its when there's a whole week when unlucky stuff happens. But it only happens in this town. It happens every 40 years." Hannah interrogates skeptically, "Wait how do you know it happens every 40 years."

"Because the last time it happened was when my grandpa was 23 years old." Aydn says.

Neko then asks, "As Aydn says it only happens in this state. Actually only this city. Every time I see an article about it's only written by someone from, Ann Arbor, Michigan."

"Aydn down tell me you actually believe this bullshit." Faith says concerned, "It's just a myth, it's clearly not real."

Jono turns up news. "Yo check this out."
"Breaking news. The victim of tonight's murder, Jayden Thompson, he suffered from 3 stab wounds and was took from us too soon. The young man's parents were interviewed and shocking news was found out. It was heard that the night before the murder Jayden told his parents he saw someone watching him from outside of his room. And he got a phone call from an unknown number saying you will loose something every important. Allegedly he wore a tattered, old burlap sack over his head, the coarse fabric smeared with streaks of dirt and dried mud. The sack's rough edges hung down, casting ominous shadows over his eyes, which gleamed with a cold, predatory glint through crudely cut holes. His attire was equally disheveled, consisting of a long, dark trench coat. Beneath the coat, he sported a faded, hooded sweatshirt. His jeans were equally worn, ripped at the knees, and covered in mud. And the young man said that he got a phone call allegedly saying that something bad was going to happen to him. He thought it was a prank call and thought it was nothing more. If you see a man wearing a trench coat, with a sweat shirt under it, and jeans cut at his knees call the police. With that be safe and stay inside at night and don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Tune in next time on AANN on channel 12 for more news."
Rylan then thinks to himself, "I wonder who the killer is." They then hear thuds on the window. "What the..." Alysa states. William goes to check outside of the window, "It's those assholes." The group runs downstairs. Wyatt tackles one of the bullies as soon as they got outside. He punched them multiple times in the face. Faith then yells, "Who do you assholes think you are, Egging Aydn's house like that."
"Chill out sweetheart," Milo says caressing Faiths hair, she then shoved him away, "All we want is Nevada." Noah then interfered, "His name is Tyler. And you're a dickhead!" Milo then punches Noah in the face. Rylan then punches Milo in the face and knocks him out cold. The bully group drag Milo back into their car and drive away. "You'll regret this!" Jet yells as they drive away. "And don't come back!" Neko exclaims at them.
     "There probably the ones that did the killings." Jono states out of breath. Rylan agrees, "No doubt about that." "Hey why do they call you Nevada anyways?" Hannah asks. "That's where I'm from." Tyler replies.
