I’m scared.
Hearing myself say I’m afraid of the person who should be protecting me from what I fear hurts the most. It’s like seeing the boogeyman but being scared of my own bed. My bed should comfort me; the boogeyman should be the fear. The person who’s supposed to protect me is the one making me afraid.
