The idea of a friends' trip had been buzzing through the Stark Tower for days. Ever since the Dynamic Six brought it up, Peter, Morgan, Harley, and MJ couldn’t stop daydreaming about their getaway plans. But there was one final hurdle they had to clear—getting Tony’s permission.
The four of them sat down in Tony’s study, fidgeting slightly as he looked up from his tablet. He crossed his arms with a small smile. “Alright, let’s hear it. You want to go on a trip?”
Peter nodded, choosing his words carefully. “Just a little adventure, Dad. Nothing too crazy.”
Tony rubbed his chin thoughtfully, leaning back. “Well, I might have a few ideas. What about Japan? Great food, culture, a bit of history?”
Peter managed a small smile, though his heart sank a bit. Japan sounded amazing, but it wasn’t quite what he’d had in mind. He’d imagined something with more thrill, more excitement—like hiking mountains, exploring the wilderness. But he couldn’t bring himself to argue with Tony’s suggestion, so he nodded slowly.
“Japan sounds great,” he said, his voice lacking its usual enthusiasm.
Tony seemed pleased, though he noticed Peter’s half-hearted tone. But before he could say anything, Harley jumped in, asking about possible sightseeing options, and MJ mentioned Japanese markets, adding to Tony’s excitement.
By the end of the conversation, Tony looked over at Steve, who gave a supportive nod. “Alright then,” Tony announced. “Japan it is!”
Peter forced a smile, not wanting to disappoint Tony. After a few more questions, they were finally excused. Once they were back in Peter’s room, he dropped onto his bed with a sigh.
“I don’t want to go to Japan,” he murmured.
Harley frowned. “Then why didn’t you say something?”
Peter sat up, looking conflicted. “I just… I didn’t want to disappoint Dad. He seemed so excited.”
Morgan exchanged a look with MJ. “You shouldn’t have to pretend, Peter. Let’s talk to Pops. He’ll understand.”
Encouraged, Peter nodded, and together they made their way to the living room, where Steve was reading. He glanced up, noticing their hesitant expressions. “What’s up?”
Peter took a breath, then launched into the whole story, explaining how he didn’t want to go to Japan, how he’d only agreed to make Tony happy, and how they’d all been hoping for an adventure—a trip that could get their adrenaline going.
Steve listened quietly, a knowing smile playing at the corners of his lips. When they finished, he chuckled, shaking his head. “I think we can work something out. You let me handle Tony. He’ll understand.”
The four of them lit up, and before they knew it, they’d each thrown their arms around him, hugging him tightly. “Thank you, Pops!” they chorused.

The next morning, Tony was in the kitchen, still thinking about their plans for Japan, when Peter and the others shared a knowing smile. Steve had done it—he’d convinced Tony to let them go on a more adventurous trip. Their new destination was set: the mountains.
Later that day, they filled in Ned and Wade about the plans. As soon as they heard the word “mountains,” their faces lit up.
“Mountains?” Ned practically shouted. “Yes! Count me in!”
Wade pumped his fist in the air. “Now this is what I’m talking about. Adrenaline rush, here we come!”
With all six friends on board, the anticipation only grew. They spent the next few days planning, packing, and gathering supplies, every bag filled with camping gear, snacks, and everything they might need for the outdoors.
