Sonia and Addi both stood on a platform. Their clothes changed to the theme of the round. The theme was fantasy. Sonia was dressed as an elf, and Addi was dressed as a witch.
Announcer: Greetings, contestants! I’ll be explaining the rules. You two will be competing against each other. You are allowed to use any tactics to overthrow your opponent just as in the first round. Above you is your speed, the average in which you are going. Power ups and boosts are all around the platform, so keep a close eye on any power ups that you can use to your advantage. Once you start, you can not go back. The platform behind you will disappear, and only one of you can win. Any questions?
Addi: We just have to make it back to the golden doors to win, right?
Announcer: Well, of course! The only way of winning is to pass the golden doors that are open the entire round unless a contestant passes inside.
Sonia: What if both contestants make it to the door at the same time?
Announcer: There will always be a winner. The one who is merely an incher closer will win while the other loses.
Sonia felt a shiver down her spine.
Announcer: Let the games begin!

The two quickly rushed in with their skateboards. Sonia was anxious. She was a little behind. Sonia looked around the place. Maybe something could help her win.
[Speed:22]
Sonia saw a pathway going up. Addi was going her own way. Sonia decided to take the other pathway. There, she saw small gnomes walking around doing labor. Sonia didn’t put much to mind but accidentally tripped off her skateboard.
Sonia:KYAAA!
Sonia fell on a pond. Two gnomes went over to her.
Gnome with a red shirt: A elf fell!
Gnome with brown hair: Quickly pick her up!
The two gnomes helped her up. They were small but surprisingly very strong.
Sonia: Oh, thank you!
Gnome with brown hair: No worries, we help the elf. Elf is nice, unlike the witch who destroys our hard work.
The other gnomes agreed. Sonia was a bit stunned.
Sonia: You mean the girl with light blue hair and wore a white witch hat?
The gnomes all nodded.
The elder gnome: Yes, witches had taken pride long ago with their black magics. We gnomes are never appreciated by any creatures; we are just seen as the lowest beings alive. But if it weren’t for us, many of these oak trees would have been extinct years ago!
Sonia: That must be terrible! How unfortunate you creatures are.
The elder gnome: Yes, I know.
Sonia: Well actually I’m competing against her in racing! Yes, and her name is Addi! But oh no! I am very behind. I must be going or else something will happen to me..
The elder gnome rubbed his beard.
The elder gnome: We can help you. You are a kind young lady, the least we can do is help. Now, there is a passageway behind the wooden door. We use it every now and then, but it may just help you.
The elder gnome walked near a wooden door that was small but enough to fit her if she crawled. He opened the door with a golden key.
The elder gnome: You may go, just leave the rest to us.
Sonia smiled brightly and nodded. She grabbed her skateboard and went inside the door. Sonia crawled all the way out of the small tunnel out of dirt. She made her way out of the tunnel, and the bright sun blinded her for a bit. She glanced around and saw the golden doors not too far. But she also saw Addi getting closer there. Sonia gasped and quickly rushed over there with her skateboard.
Addi: I won’t lose. I have to win, not for me but for him. Khase is waiting for me..
