Thomas and Brenda walked for a while, and then Thomas stopped and asked "Do you know why Vince wanna talk with me?"

Brenda sighed and looked at him. "Not Vince was the one who wanted to talk with you, it's me" She said seriously.

"Is everyhing okay?" Thomas asked. He didn't know why the girl lied that Vince wanted to talk with him. It's should be something serious thing what she want to talk about.

No. This is deadly serious. Brenda said, Thomas started to became really worried.

"When did you wanted to tell me you're head over heals in love with Newt?" She said, and started grinning.

This is definietly not Thomas thought will coming. He froze, he had no idea how the girl realized it. Was he this obvious? He only hoped Newt doesn't know about it.

"Wh-what are you talking about?" Was the first thing left the boy's mouth.

"Oh, Thomas. I see how you look at him. I think it's so cute! It's kinda weird that I liked you when we first met but I support you two totally" She said and smiled up at him.

"But not even sure if he even likes me. I mean, he is behaving so differently or maybe only I'm the one who see this way 'cause I realized it just now, I don't know. What if he only likes me as a friend?" Thomas said quickly with panic.

"What if he likes you more?" This was the only thing Brenda said.

"I would be so happy then" Thomas said shyly.

"Well, why don't you figure it out then? Tell him how you feel!" Brenda supported him.

"No, there is no way! I mean I would but- everything is way too good now and I don't wanna ruin it if he don't feel the same" Thomas said nervously.

"You need to give a a chance for it" Brenda said.

"Yeah, maybe you are right" Thomas began. "Okay, I will tell him" He said, and smiled slightly.

"I'm always right" She grinned. "Go tell him!" Brenda said and pushed Thomas towards the way they came from.

"What? No! Not right now. Maybe tonight. Or tomorrow" The boy said, he wasn't even sure what he will say, he needs time to figure out how to do it.

"Allright. Just let me know how it went" Brenda said.

"Okay" Thomas said with a little laugh. "Anyway, what are you doing today?" He asked.

"I will help around the pets, to water the plants, so, nothing special" She said and smiled.

"Can I come? I have nothing to do" Thomas asked hopefully.

"Sure you can" Brenda said with a grin. "Oh, and Lily comes too, she said she loves the animals and would help around them happily, so she will probably work there"

"That's cool! They fit in easily. I mean, Clara runs good so she probably gonna be mapping as long as we don't finish it. And I think maybe Josh will be a builder, I saw him talk with Gally" Thomas said. He was happy that they all found something they interested in.

"Yeah, this is great" Brenda said and nodded. "Now come on, it's almost noon and there is a lot to do. We will start with the plants" She said and headed towards where the plants being.

The day passed quickly, Thomas helped take care of the plants, after that they went to have lunch and rest a bit. Thomas thought Newt and Minho will be there, but they were nowhere seemed. They probably went to do something around the island. The next thing they do was to give water and food for the pets, and things like this. Thomas didn't like the smell there were, but this is the part of the work, so he needed to handle it.
