"She's not here?" Her mother's voice reached her ears, persuading her to stop playing the game.
"Ka-" Nakul, her cousin brother was cut short by her shushing him.
"Who is not here?" she asked when she heard no more voice from the other room.
"Nobody's here," rolling his eyes he continued with the game when Kaira scorned.
"Come on bhai, bhua was asking about maa, she isn't here," She jumped off the bed while speaking.
"But where is nani?" Kavya inquired once more, knitting her brows together.
"She went with Tau ji on Tuesday," She acknowledged the new information with a nod, but suddenly her eyes grew wide.
"What? But we came here to share the news with her," She slopped down against the bed and the other three surrounded her on the sides.
"What happened?" Kanak, who was still engrossed in playing his video game, asked.
"Nothing that requires your attention," She got up and made her way to the other room, rolling her eyes as others trailed behind her.
"What happened? Why are you all here?" asked the mothers, to which each one dramatically sweated.
"You guys were discussing something about nani not being here?" youngest among all asked again and was pulled into a hug by his second uncle.
"Look at how fast this boy is growing!" his wife drew him close to her.
"Ah mami stop being dramatic!" He yelled, trying to escape while everyone erupted in laughter.
"Okay now to the serious topic," Kavya whispered low and serious, "What are we doing about the news?! I missed a crucial class because you wanted to come here, mumma! We won't leave until we've finished visiting Nani, regardless of how many lakes we have to swim through or mountains we have to climb. We won't back down, right?" her dad sighed and smiled looking at her and then at his wife.
"Does anyone even know where your mama ji works? No one has the location. Stop being stubborn Kanshay," Her mother spoke, and instantly Kavya's smile faded.
"Don't worry about that bhua," Kaira threw her hand around Nakul's shoulders, "We have the address, all we require is your permission," Upon hearing this, both of their parents went pale, aware of the impending mahasangram that could erupt at any moment.
"Non sense," the mothers spoke in unison causing each younger one to whine.
"Please, please pretty please! Please mumma, please?" Kavya beseeched and both her cousins copied her.
"I think we should give it a try Chaitali. What's wrong in trying?" and so, all of them sat in the car.
"Have you two been there before?" Kavya asked her siblings as she sat next to them in the back seat.
"No di, we haven't been there but yeah Tai ji has shown us some picture of Yash and Yashika in the ground so we checked for the location and found the address." Kaira explained to which the latter nodded.
"Leave that," Nakul announced with enthusiasm, "Let's plan what we will do there." which convinced both the girls to roll their eyes.
"Come on bhai. We are going there to meet maa, not to enjoy you know."
"But the idea's nice. Google maps are showing that there are numerous animals too," Kanak spoke indulged in his tab as Kavya Nakul and Kaira stood up to peek in.
