Taehyung and Ivy strolled side by side, their fingers intertwined, Ivy's other hand wrapped around his arm as she beamed up at him with a bright, unrestrained smile.

Taehyung’s usual stoic demeanor seemed softened, the coldness in his eyes replaced with a rare glimmer of warmth and contentment that Ivy couldn't help but notice. There was a softness , an ease in his expression that hinted at a feeling of relief, a quiet happiness he seemed to savor in her presence.

As they approached the exit door of the university, Ivy reluctantly slipped her hand from his arm and turned to face him, her eyes sparkling . She took a small step back, just enough to stand fully in front of him. Then, with all the enthusiasm and sincerity she could muster, she flashed him her widest, brightest smile—a smile so full of warmth and joy that it seemed to melt the remaining traces of Taehyung's cold exterior, leaving him utterly captivated.

"So, bye, boyfriend," she said, playfully drawing out the last word. Her voice held a teasing lilt as she emphasized it, and Taehyung’s eyes widened slightly in response. He wasn’t used to hearing that obviously, that word directed at him, and hearing it from Ivy made it feel both surreal and heart-stoppingly real.

Caught off guard, he opened his mouth to reply, his voice softened , "By—" But his words were cut short by the sudden, feather-light sensation of her lips brushing his cheek in a quick peck.

For a split second, Taehyung froze. He felt the warmth of Ivy's kiss spread across his cheek, and almost instantly, a soft crimson blush crept up from his neck, coloring his face in a way he couldn’t control. His mind went blank, his gaze fixed on her as he tried to process.

Meanwhile, Ivy had already turned her back to him, her casual “See uhh… tomorrow!” floating back to him in a tone so carefree it left him speechless. She began to walk away, her steps light as though she hadn’t just shattered his composure in a single moment.

Taehyung stood there, still as a statue, watching her retreating figure. His mind raced, trying to grasp onto some coherent thought, but all he could manage was a quiet, disbelieving chuckle that escaped his lips before he could stop it. There was something so effortlessly genuine in her boldness, something that left him feeling a mix of admiration and amusement like as always.

As he finally began to move, his footsteps felt lighter, as if her kiss had lifted some invisible weight off his shoulders. He found himself chuckling again, a soft, genuine sound that wasn’t forced or guarded—just real. A rare smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he shook his head slightly, unable to erase the image of her bright smile and the feeling of her touch from his mind.

He kept replaying the moment in his head, his cheeks tingling every time he recalled the kiss, the way she’d called him “boyfriend” so effortlessly.

His heart thudded in his chest, not from anxiety, but from a  unfamiliar excitement that seemed to fill him entirely. He’d known Ivy boldness struck him in a way that made his heart race, and his mind feel pleasantly hazy.
