~chapter 1~ The escape - au explanation

Au explanation:

When Killua and Nallumi (my Oc) were 5 years old, they discovered the entirety living inside their little sister Alluka. This entity was Nanika. When they discovered that Nanika can grant wishes, they tried to keep it a secret from the rest of the family, but unfortunately failed. The family discovered Nanika and how she can grant wishes. When Kalluto found out, he didn't believe it. After all, how would it be possible for someone to grant wishes?

He decided to test this himself, but it backfired very quickly. Kalluto, being the little boy he was, got a little jealous of the twins for all the attention they got. Therefore, he jokingly asked Nanika to send them away. And get sent away they did. They were teleported to another world, however they were passed out when they arrived there. They were found by a group of scientists who separated them while they were out, and made sure they were both starved. After about a week of this, they were finally brought back together and had the situation explained to them.

Do to all the experiments they had to endure, the twins changed a bit and gained a few new abilities. Killua had turned into a cat-mutant, with a tail and ears. His nose was now also like that of a cat, and his senses of hearing and smell had increased by a lot. He was also a lot more flexible than before, wich also added a bit to his speed. Nallumi on the other hand, had grown into a fox-mutant. She had six tails and like Killua, a pair of ears and a strange new nose. Unfortunately, she had also suffered a head trauma that caused her a split personality. For each tail she had, she also had a separate personality. Her senses had also increased. But instead of speed and flexibility, she gained the ability to hide herself. Their senses of smell and hearing were increased enough that they could smell things others couldn't. For example; they were able to pick up the other's sent, even if it was faint. They were even able to hear faint sounds like footsteps and if they concerted enough, even things like electricity.

Years later, the heroes discovered the lab and shut it down. Unknown to them, the twins were still there. A week after the lab was shut down, a group of 4 heroes, wich were All Might, Midnight, Hawks, and Eraserhead, went back to the lab to find out what was going on there. They found out about the twins and immediately went to go search for them. When they finally found them, they were locked in a room made of titanium. But when they unlocked the room, they were suddenly gone....

The twins had been locked in their cell for about a week, and they hadn't been fed once in that time either. They were currently attempting to sleep, since sleep would give them energy. As they were laying there, they noticed that there was a group of people watching them through the glass, wich wasn't unusual. As the people walked away to the right, the twins were starting to wake up. All of a sudden, they heard the door being wiggled, like someone was trying to open it without unlocking it first. This got the both of them to instantly be on-guard. Their eyes snapped to the door the second it made a sound.  "Do we even try to hide ourselves now?" Nallumi asked, still looking at the door. Killua sighed, knowing there wasn't really a "right answer" to that question. "I guess so. Maybe since, they're new, we could fool them and maybe try an escape." The two nodded at each other and hid in the ceiling corners next to the door.

Once the door opened, three of the four people went inside the room and looked around, but they were confused to see the twins were gone. "Where are they? We just saw them both laying there." The lady said. She had long black hair, and tight clothes with a red mask and a small whip. She and a blond man glances at each other in confusion. The man had red wings and lose clothes. "If they're hiding, they sure are good at it." A tired man with strange yellow goggles, black clothes and Mid-length black hair said as he walked further into the room, looking for them. "I'll Check If I Can See Them In The Glass!" Said the man who was standing in front of the door. He was big and muscular, had a strange outfit that screamed for attention, and blond hair that stuck upwards, looking a bit like bunny ears.

While all that was happening, the twins were communicating per Nen, and once the fourth guy walked off, they nodded at each other. This was the time to make an escape. They quickly and quietly landed on the ground, and snuck out the door. Luckily, they went unnoticed by the people who were looking for them. They made their way through the many halls, and would often stop and hide behind corners, to check if there was anyone in the hallways.

After what felt like a eternity, they finally made it out of the building. They looked around, feeling free for the first time in years. They took a few deep breaths, taking in the fresh air and looking around, finding themselves to feel......

happy. Wait, happiness?  "Kil, do you feel this too?" Nallumi asked, finding it strange to feel happy. "Yeah, but it's really wired. Regardless, we should probalably find some info on where we are now."
