The evening had unfolded slowly, a quiet contrast to the hectic pace of the day. Rehearsals, practice, meetings—it had all blended together into a blur of activity, and now, at long last, Felix and you were sitting together in his apartment, the night winding down. The rain was tapping softly against the windows, a comforting rhythm that seemed to fill the room with warmth.

Felix had been lounging on the couch, one arm draped over the back as he scrolled through his phone lazily. You sat beside him, feet tucked under a blanket, a cup of tea warming your hands. The tension of the day had finally begun to fade, leaving only the simple, quiet moments.

"I'm exhausted," Felix muttered, glancing over at you with a soft smile. "I don't know how you do it. You're always so full of energy."

You laughed, looking up at him. "I'm not. I'm just good at hiding it," you teased, taking a sip of your tea. "But I can't argue, today was draining."

He chuckled, but then his smile softened into something more tired, his eyes closing as he leaned his head back on the couch. "I think I might pass out soon," he said, voice a little more drowsy than usual.

"Same," you admitted, feeling the exhaustion seep into your bones.

The two of you sat in comfortable silence, the soft sounds of the rain and the quiet hum of the apartment enveloping you. It was one of those rare, peaceful moments when the world outside felt far away, and you were just two people, sharing the end of a long day together.

Without realizing it, your eyelids grew heavier, the warmth of the room and the gentle presence of Felix lulling you into a drowsy haze. You shifted a little, inching closer to him without really thinking about it, the warmth of his body inviting you to rest.

Felix, apparently already halfway asleep, let out a soft sigh and shifted to face you, his hand instinctively reaching out to settle on your side. His touch was gentle, like he was subconsciously wanting to make sure you were there, close. He was already half asleep, his breath slow and steady.

Minutes passed. The sound of the rain outside blended into a distant background noise, and soon enough, you both drifted off, the exhaustion of the day finally catching up with you. The couch was warm, the blanket soft, and Felix's presence was comforting enough to let sleep wash over you.

It was only hours later that you slowly began to stir, a soft groan slipping from your lips as you stretched your arms, still feeling a bit groggy from sleep. But then you froze, blinking a few times as you tried to process what you were feeling.

There was something warm and solid pressed against you.

When you looked down, you realized, with a start, that Felix had somehow ended up on top of you, his head nestled against your chest, one arm draped across your waist while his leg was tangled with yours. You couldn't help but smile at the sight—his face peaceful, relaxed in sleep, unaware of the adorable mess you two had made of the blanket.

You gently shifted beneath him, trying not to wake him, but as you moved, Felix let out a soft murmur, his grip tightening around you as if to pull you closer.

"Mm..." His voice was groggy and sweet, his eyes barely opening as he blinked up at you, the sleepiness still thick in his gaze. "What time is it?"

"Still too early for you to be up," you teased softly, your fingers brushing his hair back from his face. "Go back to sleep."

He smiled faintly, a sleepy, contented look on his face. "I don't want to. I like this," he mumbled, snuggling further into your embrace. "You're warm."

A soft laugh escaped your lips at his adorable honesty. "You're ridiculous," you whispered, your heart swelling a little at how comfortable and natural it felt to be this close to him.

Felix made a small sound of protest, his hand gently tightening on your waist as if to hold you in place. "I'm not ridiculous," he murmured. "I just like being with you."

The simple admission warmed your chest in a way you hadn't expected. You smiled down at him, letting your hand rest on his back, feeling the steady rhythm of his breathing as you both lay there in peaceful quiet.

"Me too," you whispered, your voice soft and tender.

Neither of you moved for what felt like a long time, just letting the world outside pass by as you shared the warmth of the moment. Felix was still half-asleep, his face tucked against your chest, breathing softly against you. You could feel the rise and fall of his chest beneath your hand, the gentle, comforting presence of him filling you with peace.

Eventually, though, the need for space became too much to ignore. You both couldn't stay like this forever, but for now, it didn't matter. You gently nudged him, coaxing him awake just enough to ease your way out from under him.

"Felix," you whispered, giving his arm a little shake.

He groaned, rolling over to his side, giving you a sleepy glare. "You're not leaving, are you?"

You laughed quietly, already missing the warmth of his body against yours. "I'm not going anywhere. Just need a little space."

He nodded slowly, a half-smile playing on his lips. "I'm still not letting go of you, though."

You grinned, and just before you both drifted back into the comfortable quiet, you heard him mumble, his voice a little more awake this time.

"I think I could fall asleep like this every day."

You smiled, your heart full. "I wouldn't mind that either."

And as the room grew quiet again, the soft sounds of Felix's breathing beside you became the most comforting lullaby, both of you tangled in more than just your limbs, but in the easy comfort of each other's presence.
