The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over the park where you and Seungmin had decided to spend the afternoon. The air was crisp with the first hints of autumn, the leaves on the trees starting to shift into shades of red and orange. It was one of those perfect, peaceful days—just the two of you, away from the chaos of everyday life.

You sat on a bench near the edge of a small pond, watching the ducks swim lazily by. Seungmin was beside you, his eyes focused on his phone, but you could tell he wasn't really looking at it. His gaze kept drifting back to you, and he would glance away quickly when you caught him.

"Seungmin," you said, turning your head to look at him with a smile. "What's on your mind?"

He blinked and immediately looked back at his phone, his fingers typing quickly. "Nothing," he replied, though his voice was a little too casual. "Just texting the guys."

You raised an eyebrow but didn't press it. It wasn't unusual for Seungmin to be distracted by messages, but something about his behavior today felt different. You chalked it up to him being tired from his busy schedule.

You were about to go back to watching the ducks when you noticed something odd out of the corner of your eye. Seungmin was holding his phone up, pointed directly at you—but he was pretending to be engrossed in his screen. It was too obvious.

You turned your head slowly, catching him in the act as he hastily lowered the phone. "Seungmin!" you exclaimed, laughing. "Were you trying to take a picture of me?"

He froze, his cheeks turning pink as he awkwardly cleared his throat. "I—uh, no!" He stammered, his eyes darting between you and his phone, as if searching for a way out of the situation. "I wasn't doing anything! It was just... I was checking the camera..."

You tilted your head, a playful grin spreading across your face. "Uh-huh. Sure you were."

Seungmin bit his lip, glancing down at his phone. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Okay, fine. I was trying to take a picture of you," he admitted sheepishly. "But it's not what you think! I wasn't trying to be sneaky or anything."

You couldn't help but smile at his flustered expression. "Really? What's the big deal about taking a picture of me?"

He hesitated for a moment before answering, his voice quieter. "I just... I don't know. I wanted to have a memory of today. You know, when we're not in a rush, just... spending time together. It's nice."

You blinked, touched by his words. Seungmin wasn't one to openly express himself like this, so hearing him talk about wanting to preserve a moment meant more than he probably realized. His shy, somewhat awkward demeanor only made the moment feel even more genuine.

"Seungmin," you said softly, leaning toward him, "that's really sweet."

He looked up at you, his expression softening, though his cheeks were still tinged pink. "You're not mad?" he asked, his eyes a little nervous.

"Mad?" you shook your head, "Of course not. I think it's kind of cute."

Seungmin let out a relieved sigh, his shoulders relaxing. "Really?" he asked, glancing at you with a shy smile.

You nodded. "Yeah. I like the idea of you wanting a memory of us together. It's... it's special."

Seungmin's eyes lingered on you for a moment, his gaze warm. He seemed to be searching for the right words. "Well, if it's okay with you... I can take one for real now," he said, his voice more confident. "So it's not so weird."

You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "You want to take a picture of me?"

He grinned, his earlier nervousness fading away. "I want to take a picture of us," he clarified, taking a step closer to you. "You're not the only one who wants a memory."

You smiled, your heart warming at his words. "Okay, let's do it."

Seungmin pulled out his phone again, his fingers hovering over the screen as he lined up the shot. His eyes darted between you and the camera, checking to make sure everything was perfect. "Ready?"

You nodded, giving him a soft smile. "Yeah, I'm ready."

He clicked the button, capturing the moment—the two of you sitting together in the fading sunlight, the peaceful atmosphere of the park, the way your eyes sparkled when you smiled. It was a perfect picture, but what made it even more meaningful was the quiet connection between you two.

When the picture was taken, Seungmin stared at the screen for a moment before looking back at you. "It's just us," he said quietly, his voice soft. "A memory I can keep."

Your heart swelled at his words, and you gently bumped your shoulder into his. "Thank you, Seungmin. I'll keep it too."

He smiled, his eyes bright, and for a brief moment, it felt like time stood still. You didn't need any grand gestures, no huge declarations. Just moments like this—small, quiet, and full of meaning. The kind of memories that would last.

"You know," he said with a playful grin, "if you look at this picture and think I look cute, I might just take a few more."

You rolled your eyes, laughing. "You're impossible."

"But you love me anyway," Seungmin teased, his grin widening.

"Maybe," you said with a smirk, "but only if you promise to take more pictures of us in the future."

"Deal," he said, reaching for his phone again. "For all the memories we'll make."

And as the two of you sat there together, basking in the last moments of the day, you knew that this was just the beginning of many more memories to come.
