It was a quiet afternoon, the kind where the sun filtered through the blinds of the living room, casting soft stripes across the floor. You were lounging on the couch, scrolling through your phone when you heard the familiar sound of Jeongin's voice coming from the kitchen.

"Hey, you've got to try this," he called out, a little too eagerly. "I think I've cracked the code to the perfect smoothie."

You raised an eyebrow, setting your phone down. "Oh? And what makes you think that?"

"I'm telling you, this will blow your mind," he said with a tone of complete confidence, followed by the clinking of glass and the blender whirring to life.

You chuckled softly to yourself, amused by his determination. Jeongin was always so passionate when it came to new things he'd gotten into, no matter how trivial. His recent obsession with making smoothies was no exception. You had to admit, he had a way of making everything sound exciting, even a simple drink.

After a minute or two, the blender stopped. You heard footsteps approach, and soon Jeongin appeared, holding two tall glasses of the smoothie he'd just made, a proud grin plastered on his face.

"Here," he said, handing you one of the glasses. "I present to you... the perfect smoothie."

You took it, inspecting the vibrant pink color. It looked... interesting. "Well, cheers," you said, raising the glass in a mock toast.

Jeongin eagerly took a sip of his own, watching you with wide eyes, clearly eager for your reaction. You took a hesitant sip, and the sweetness hit you immediately. It wasn't bad—actually, it was kind of good. You could taste the fruits he'd thrown in, but there was a slight tang that made it stand out.

"Well?" Jeongin asked, leaning forward, his gaze fixed on you.

You smiled and gave him a thumbs-up. "It's actually really good, Jeongin. You did it."

He beamed, looking like he had just won a major victory. "I knew it. You're welcome," he said, but his tone was more playful than arrogant.

You took another sip, still enjoying the smooth blend of flavors, but then something funny caught your eye—Jeongin's hair. A stray strand of it had fallen into his face while he took a sip of his smoothie, and it was now sticking to his lips.

Trying to hide your amusement, you leaned in and casually wiped it away, brushing your fingers against his soft skin. "You've got a little something right there," you said with a smile.

Jeongin froze for a moment, his eyes widening in surprise at your touch. He quickly wiped his lips, looking flustered. "Ah, thanks," he stammered, his face turning slightly pink.

You couldn't help but laugh, the sound escaping before you could stop it. It wasn't a quiet laugh either—it was loud, a little contagious, and you could hear the way it bubbled up from your chest. It was the kind of laugh that made your whole face light up.

Jeongin blinked, staring at you with a slightly confused but endearing look. "What?" he asked, his voice a little unsure.

You couldn't stop yourself from giggling. "You're just so cute when you're flustered."

His face turned even redder, and he groaned, burying his face in his hands. "I didn't think I'd make you laugh that much," he muttered, but there was a hint of a smile underneath his hands.

"You always make me laugh," you said softly, feeling your own smile soften. You meant it too—whether he was being his playful self or getting embarrassed over little things, he had a way of making everything feel lighthearted. It was one of the many things you loved about him.

Jeongin peeked through his fingers, a shy smile tugging at his lips. "Really? I guess... I guess I'm happy I can make you laugh."

"You do it without even trying," you said, leaning back against the couch. "Your laugh is infectious. And I'm pretty sure I'll never get tired of it."

Jeongin's smile widened, though he looked away, trying to hide the happiness spreading across his face. His fingers gripped his glass a little tighter as if to distract himself from your words.

"You're too kind," he mumbled, his voice soft but sincere.

You chuckled, leaning over to bump your shoulder against his. "I'm serious. You're funny, Jeongin. You've got that charm."

His eyes flicked to you, meeting your gaze for a brief moment. "Well, as long as you like it," he said, his voice soft but full of warmth.

You could see the sincerity in his eyes, the way he cared about your opinion. In that moment, you realized just how much you cherished these small, everyday moments with him—the times when it was just the two of you, laughing, talking, and sharing simple joys.

"Don't worry," you said with a wink. "I like everything about you."

Jeongin's cheeks turned a shade of pink that had nothing to do with his earlier embarrassment, and for a moment, the two of you just sat there, smiling at each other, the peaceful quiet between you more comforting than any words could say.

And in that moment, you knew that no matter how simple or silly the day might seem, these were the times that made your heart feel full—the times spent with him, the sound of his laughter echoing in your mind long after it had faded away.
