Black Diamond sat alone in the temple, she was agrivated, she was caught between a rock and a hard place so to speak, she felt a heavy amount of guilt for betraying the gems in recent events, especialy towards Pearl. She had been completly ignoring her, Pearl of course wasnt responding positivly to being ignored.
What was she ment to do? She hated herself for helping peridot but she felt as though she owed her for being her friend previously. Now she had damged her relationship with Pearl, her singular fuision partner. Hearing the warp pad Diamond looked away getting up and walking towards the door only to feel Pearl's gentle hand on her arm, it brought a few tears to brim in her eyes but she pulled herself away and walked out down onto the beach.
"Diamond please just talk to me!!" Pearl yelled from the ledge of the house looking at the figure of Black Diamond on the beach and the wind gently blew her short hair. Diamond continued walking she needed to leave, she wasnt a crystal gem anymore. She never was supposed to be. Despite Pearl's cries and screams Diamond didn't turn around as she mounted onto the sleak form of a dark blue gem dragon that took off into the sky.
Once in the clouds Diamond broke into sobs trying franticly to wipe away the streams of tears, they refuses to cease as the clouds thined out to show the moon lite ocean beneath the dragons outlined siluette.
"Whats wrong with me NightBlast?" She patted the dragon and he thrummed in responce to his master "I care about Pearl and the others but all i can do is hurt them..." The dragon snarled and thrummed turning himself around back towards the temple. "NightBlast I can't go back!" Diamond franticly tugged on the dragons collar though he refused to listen to his master.
Black diamond looked at the black waves beneath them still then at the temple that grew ever closer, she sighed leaning off to the side and falling off of NightBlast's back and towards the shallow waves. NightBlast shreiked and he dived after his master reaching out his front legs to grab onto her, only to be met with empty air and the oceans waves.
Black Diamond had her eyes closed as she impacted with the cold waves that saved her before maybe now they would end her. NightBlast flapped his wings frantcly shreiking to his master under the waves being unable to reach or aid her. Black Diamond let herself slip from the relm of reality just as something crashed into the waves above her.
Black Diamond awoke with the warm feeling of Pearl beside her, her thin arms wrapped around her upper waist amd her face burried into her chest, her face was stained with tears which caused Black Diamond to sigh and she kisses her gem
"I'm so sorry Pearl, I never want to leave you, youre the only person who know me better then know myself." Pearl sturred slightly only holding onto Diamond tighter.
"You better believe it..." She yawned sighing happily. "Because I'm not letting you leave again"
