**Niya POV**The adrenaline still coursed through my veins as we sped away from the warehouse, the glow of the explosion fading in the rearview mirror. Dezmon gripped the steering wheel tightly, his jaw set in determination. The night air was thick with tension, but I felt an exhilarating rush knowing we had taken a stand against the boss who had terrorized my life.
"Did we really just do that?" I asked, half in disbelief, half in awe.
Dezmon glanced at me, a triumphant smile breaking through his serious demeanor. "Yeah, we did. They won't be coming after you anymore."
I let out a nervous laugh, the weight of what we had accomplished settling in. "I can't believe we actually pulled it off. It felt surreal."
As we drove further away from the chaos, I felt a mix of relief and exhilaration. The plan had worked—better than I could have imagined. But there was still an underlying tension; we knew this wasn't over yet.
"Where to now?" I asked, my heart racing with anticipation.
"Let's get rid of these cars," he replied, his eyes focused on the road ahead. "We need to cover our tracks."
We pulled into an isolated area near an old industrial site, far away from prying eyes. Dezmon parked the car and turned to me, his expression serious once again. "We need to make sure everything is gone—no evidence left behind."
With gloves still on our hands, we quickly got to work. We removed anything that could link us to the operation and set fire to the remains of the vehicles. The flames danced in the darkness, illuminating our faces as we watched them burn away all traces of our actions.
Once everything was taken care of, we climbed back into Dezmon's car, both of us silent for a moment as the reality of what we had done began to sink in.
"Are you okay?" he asked softly, glancing at me with concern.
I nodded slowly, my heart still pounding. "Yeah... I think so. It just feels like everything has changed."
Dezmon reached over and took my hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "It has. But now we can finally move forward without looking over our shoulders."
As we drove away from the scene, a sense of freedom washed over me. I knew that whatever came next, we would face it together.

After arriving home
—As we stepped inside my house, the weight of the night's events began to settle in. The adrenaline was still pumping through my veins, but now I felt a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration. I turned to Dezmon, who was still buzzing from our successful mission.
"Do you want to take a shower with me?" I asked, a playful smile creeping
Dezmon's eyes widened slightly at my question, and then a slow smile spread across his face. "Yeah, I'd like that," he replied, his voice low and warm.We made our way to the bathroom,
We undressed
"Hey could you wash my back please?"I felt his hands gently glide across my shoulders, the warm water cascading down our bodies as he worked the soap into a lather. His touch was both tender and reassuring, sending a shiver down my spine. Dezmon's fingers moved in slow, deliberate circles, easing away the tension that had built up from the chaos of the night. I closed my eyes, letting myself relax under his care, feeling a sense of intimacy and trust enveloping us. The steam swirled around us, creating a cocoon of warmth that made everything outside feel distant and unimportant. In that moment, it was just us—two souls finding solace in each other after a whirlwind of events.
