Chapter 3

A/N:
Hey! So the picture above is gonna take place in this chapter.. so yeah! 😂 I really hope that this fanfic is good but who knows! So anyways here you go! I present Chapter 3!

Clarke's POV:

We have been walking for the past day when I see it. Right there in front of me stood THE PLACE. The place where our group is going to stay. How do I know this you may ask? Well, its perfect. There is no grounders for one. But there is also flat ground, there is tress making a barricade around the ground. There is room for all of us and more if anything happens (if you know what I mean).

I look over to my right to see Bellamy looking around the same way I was a minute ago. I reach over and put my hand on his shoulder, "This is the place isn't it?" I say to him.

He nods his head with a grin. He then turns to face everyone. "Attention everyone! SO, welcome to your new home! Everyone set up your tents!"

HE then turns his head towards me. "I am going to go make sure we have everything set."

I turn to go and find a spot for my tent. I reach the perfect spot. Its right at the back of the camp. I set the tent up and start to unpack my small amount of clothes and other things. I finish up and head outside. I start to unzip the tent and right when it is completely done, all I see is tan skin and brown curly hair. Bellamy notices that I am standing there and blushes. Bellamy? Blushing? Never thought I would see that day.

"Whats wrong Bellamy? Did you need me for something?"

"No no! Its just, someone lost their tent somehow and we are one tent short so someone has to share. I may have given my tent away to the person who lost it. So basically I need some one to bunk with and Octavia already said no. So, um.... Do you mind if I stay in your tent. I mean you don't have too if you don't want to! I would completely understand. And now am rambling." He goes rambling on and then he smiles with a light sigh.

" Yeah of course you can Bell!" I say, "Come on in."

He walks inside and he gets set up. We just sit there for a moment once all his stuff is ready. We have lantern on in between our beds so that it wasn't pitch black dark inside our average sized tent. I still can't believe that he asked me if he could move in. I mean don't get me wrong, I am completely excited about this.

After a while we start talking. We are playing 20 questions, an old game everyone used to play on the ark. We eventually past the 20 question limit and were just asking questions about each other. "So, have any boyfriends up at the Ark?" He ask em with a playful grin on his face.

"Nah, never really saw anyone who interest me until I got here on the ground." Shoot, I didn't mean to say that last part out loud.

"Ah, so you have a little boyfriend on the ground huh? Let me guess, Finn? (A/N: The Finn and Clarke fling doesn't happen in this book but Raven did come down to the ground!)"

"Not your turn." I say with a smirk plastered on my face, "What about you, have a special girl?"

"No but there is this girl on the ground that catches my eye." He says. That kind of confused me.. was he talking about me or is there another girl?

"To answer your question from before, no its not Fin, he is to invested for my liking. I like guys who are mysterious but approachable." I say trying to get the hint to him.

HE seems to get the point because he is looking down grinning. "Now my turn. Lets see.. Who is this special girl? Must be something special to get your eye." I say instantly my heart racing waiting for his reply.

"Actually Princess, its you." He says staring into my eyes.

I stare into his gaze trying to see if there is any hint of joke. All I see is brightness.
"That's good, because you have been the guy I have been interested in."

I see Bellamy start to lean forward and we are centimeters apart when someone starts knocking on out tent. Bellamy rolls his eyes and shoots up from where we were. He goes to the opening of the tent and looks out. There, Octavia was standing with her hand on her hip.

They talk for a couple minutes and I am oblivious to what they were talking about exactly. Bellamy then walks back in our tent. Man that is still seems weird to say, our tent. He then helps me up from where I was sitting and pulls me closer to him.

He leans forward close to my ear and says "We will have too finish this when we get back."

He then starts to pull away his lips lingering close to my cheek. We walk out the tent to see everyone gathered around the middle of our little camp. "Listen up everyone! Tonight we rest and tomorrow is going to be a busy day. We are going to start building up a wall around our camp." HE starts.

"Also there will be a group that will go out hunting for food and supplies to build." I add in, not wanting to forget anything important.

"Until then, everyone go to your tents and get a goodnights rest and be prepared for tomorrow." He concludes.

Everyone starts to head towards the tents and the only people left out are Octavia, Bellamy, Finn, Jasper, Raven, and Monty. "Hey Octavia I have a little surprise for you. I know you have been mad at me but I know you have a reason to be."

"Bell, what is this about?" She says with a little sisterly sass.

Just then we hear something rustling out in the woods. "This should be it now" Bellamy says with a grin.

As he says this Lincoln, one of the grounders, comes out. At first we all thought they all came but then remembered that he and Octavia were a thing and wouldn't harm her in any way. Octavia ran to him and hugged him, never wanting to let go.

I feel an arm snake around my waist as I watch the scene occur. I look up and see Bellamy there smiling down at me. I think everyone notices his little gesture and gives us knowing looks. Gish, did everyone know about him and me liking each other. Maybe I was blind.

Everyone eventually went to their tents. Lincoln was staying in Octavia's tent, much to Bells dismay. As I walk into our tent, I wonder what in the world was going to happen in here tonight. Well, we will just have to see.
