I scan the crowd, hoping to see her. She's four minutes late, which is, a perefectly normal amount of time to be late by. Still, my mind races, wondering if she perhaps had decided not to come, maybe she realised I'm not the guy she thinks I am.

I give the crowd one last scan before starting to turn, shoving my hands in my pockets.

"'Kaashi!"

I whip my head around at the sound of my nickname, specifically coined by her. I see her waving her hand high, trying to squeeze through the crowd of people towards me.

I feel a huge grin break out across my face as I wave back.

"Sorry I'm late." She pants as she reaches me. "I overslept again."

"It's alright, N/n." I smile down at her.

She fixes her hair quickly before looping her arm through mine. I take a mental screenshot of the moment. Gosh I'm really down bad aren't I?

"Shall we go?" I smile, she grins up at me, with that smile that would make me do anything.

"Yeah!"

"Y/n you're NOT buying the whole candy store."

"'Kay but why not?"

"Because I don't want you to be on a sugar high." I roll my eyes affectionately. "I'll buy you one bag but that's it."

"Ugh fineeeee." She groans, starting to pick out her candy.

"You'll survive."

She sticks out her tongue at me, continuing to shovel candy into the bag.

I laugh.

"Hey! Are you laughing at me?"

"Nope."
