❁Wednesday❁
Renese and I were sitting in the art room, eating lunch with Ms. John. So far, today has been rather peaceful and quiet. Maybe because I didn't have Ms. Amulet.
Unfortunately, I have after school cleaning again all because of Ms. Amulet.
I still couldn't believe she put that stupid paper under my phone. Instead of coming to me like normal person, she put it under my phone. Like, who does that.
I groaned rolling my eyes at the memory.
"What's up with you?" Renese asked.
I sighed, "Just thinking about yesterday"
"About Ms. Amulet?" I nodded, rolling my eyes at the mention of her name.
"It's only been two days since you had her and you're already hating her" Ms. John says with a smile.
"She's annoying, a hard-ass, bitchy and just impossible to like" I listed counting on my fingers.
Renese laughed while Ms. John only shook her head laughing. The bell rung for the end of lunch and we all stood up. I had Geography and Renese had P.E.
Ms. John stood outside her class leaning against the door waiting for the students to arrive.
"Okay, head to class now."
I groaned "I don't wanna."
"Girl let's go" Renese grabbed me by my bag and dragged me down the hallway. We parted ways at the end of the hallway and I strolled to my Geography class.
I stepped into the class which was half-filled with students waiting for the teacher. I took a seat in the front to get a better view of the work.
A few minutes passed and Mr. Haynes walked in. He looked like a really jolly man who ate a ton of sugar before coming to school. His smile never falter since he walked in.
He had long straight brown hair which was tied back in a ponytail and he wore an oversized white jersey with grey cargo pants and white sneakers.
Mr. Haynes dropped his bag on the desk and leaned against the edge of it, with one ankle crossed over the other. "Okay" he clasped his hands together "We'll start with something simple today- The Solar System" he pushed himself off from the table and walked to the whiteboard, taking up a marker.
I pulled out my notebook from my bag and pulled the blue ink pen from my hair.
"The solar system consists of, the sun and its nine planets. There are many systems and all together, these form a Galaxy" he wrote on the board while talking out loud. "Many galaxies make up what we call the Universe" he turned to us, explaining the universe for us to get a better understanding.
He spoke moving his hand in the air. The rest of the class flew by in a blur, with Mr. Haynes discussing the system in its state of equilibrium.
At the end of class, we were given homework to find how far each planet was from the sun.
