Railgun Online Book 4: Alicization Beginning

The Black Snow Princess and the Ocean Storm.

Mikoto still remembered the first time she and Yuuki fought side by side.. Asuna had been there too.. and it had been like a dream..  a wonderful flying dream.

Mikoto knew what it took to make a good team, she had fought long enough alongside Kirito as the Best Tag Team in Aincrad for two years. But she had been stunned to see how well she and Yuuki worked together after only fighting together for a short time..

Things had not changed.

"RAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" Mikoto launched down at Sterben with her two blades, rippling with electric might as she performed a double hit Sonic Leap.

Sterben opened his coat.. and swarms of crows viciously collided  with the blades, before engulfing Mikoto in a giant black sphere of birds..

However, right as this happened, Yuuki came at Sterben from behind with incredibly fast attacks, Forcing him to whirl around and parry the fast blows..

As he parried the blows.. lightning tore the sphere of crows apart and Mikoto came slashing down like a meteor..

"DAMN YOU!!!" Sterben activated a Spinning Shield, causing crows to spiral out of the blade.. and blast out from him.

Mikoto let loose a massive barrage of lightning spears, blasting apart each and every crow that went near Yuuki, allowing her to dash in close at Sterben.

Sterben grunted with surprise as he was barely able to parry Yuuki's second fierce assault.

"Not so easy when your power can't help you am I right?" said Yuuki.

"Shut up girl!!" Sterben growled. "This was supposed to be MY battle with Railgun!!"

"Too bad.. so sad!!" Mikoto roared, dashing around and coming behind Sterben.. letting out a ferocious combo. "But you and me aren't an exclusive!!!"

Sterben parried Mikoto's blows ragefully, but as he did, Yuuki shot down at Sterben, her blade glowing with incredible light as she activated a powerful skill.

Sterben sent a massive cyclone of crows blasting out of him.. But Yuuki flipped and twisted through the crows and sent her strike hurtling into Sterben's back.

Sterben cried out in pain and jumped back as Mikoto and Yuuki came to stand side by side, both staring Sterben down with determined smiles on their faces.

"What's the matter Darth Smokey?" said Mikoto. "Never fought my friend Yuuki here have you? I'm sure it'll be a fun experience for all three of us."

Smoke gushed out of Sterben's mask as he began to growl furiously. "I'll make sure you're both dead.. well, the Devil Waits For No Invitation.. come and get me little princesses.."

"Heeheehee!! Come on!! Follow me follow me!!" Ashley dashed through the woods like a blur, completely outpacing both PoH and Johny Black as they struggled to keep up.

"Damn woman's like an eel!" Black growled as he struggled to keep up with her.

"She knows this forest far better then anybody in the Human Empire." said PoH. "It's going to take a miracle to keep up... no.. we need a different approach."

Black chuckled.. his eyes gleaming beneath his mask. "You have an idea?"

"Most surely." said PoH, smiling evilly. 

A few minutes later.. Ashley slowed to a stop, glancing around her. "Hmmm? Well.. it seems you are going for the sneaky approach now.. how thoughtful! I've always wanted to see how I'd fair against an ambush.."
