Chapter 10:Unveiling hidden Affections

The night after their last call, Karthik couldn't wait to reach out to Shravani again. Something about her energy, her calmness, and the surprising connections between them had sparked a sense of new hope in him—one he hadn't felt since his past relationship. As they spoke, he decided to open up about something he'd been holding back.

"Shravani, I have to tell you," he began, pausing thoughtfully. "From the moment we talked a month ago, I started thinking about you... but I didn't know why. It was a casual, professional call, but when I realized we were from the same town, same caste, and that maybe our paths aligned, I wondered. I thought to myself, 'What if... she could be the one?' I tried to brush it off as silly, knowing my family would play a big part in whoever I chose. But I couldn't shake the thought."

Karthik explained how, after that initial call, his friend Prakash—who was also a mutual friend of Shravani's—suggested Shravani as a match. Though Karthik had exams and a hectic schedule, Prakash's suggestion lingered in his mind, as it echoed his own thoughts. 

So i am sure about this from a 3weeks. I am happy when i saw your biodata as an arranged marriage. But i want you take time and think about this do you really think i am the one for you ? Or you sure ? Better we hold this marriage you take your time and tell me your answer.When he finally shared this with Shravani, he expected her to be surprised.

However, her reaction was one he hadn't anticipated.

After a pause, Shravani, calm and composed, responded, "Karthik, do you really think I decided on you in just one phone call? Let me be honest: I've liked you for a while now, even from our internship days. I wanted to approach you, to get to know you, but then I found out you were in a relationship. So, I let it go. I didn't dwell on it, and life moved on."

Shravani continued, revealing that when she  learned from Prakash that Karthik was single again, she felt a renewed sense of hope.

She admitted that it was she who orchestrated the idea of them as a potential match, to prakash and made prakash to talk to karthik. She wantedly called kartik a month ago for professional advice to make sure he still remembers her.

even going as far as asking her father to introduce the idea to Karthik's family.its her who asked her father about karthik .

"So, do you still think I need time to figure out my feelings?" she asked, her voice firm and unwavering. "I've had more than enough time to know what I want. And I want you."

Karthik was silent, absorbing every word. This wasn't something he ever expected—a clear, confident confession from Shravani, one that made his heart race. She was sure, committed, and standing before him, figuratively, with an open heart.

Then, breaking the silence, Shravani said softly yet with conviction, "Marry me, Karthik. I want this... I want you."

The words hung between them, leaving Karthik speechless and deeply moved. Here was someone who had seen him beyond just the surface, who had hoped for him, and who was willing to take this leap.

For the first time in years, Karthik felt that maybe, just maybe, he had finally found the love he'd been searching for.
