Blake's pov:

"Valentina I'm not letting you go in there alone!" I exclaim following Val, out of the huge building.

"What do you want to do Blake? Go in guns blazing and get my sister killed?!" She retorts her voice much louder than mine.

"I want to fucking protect you!" I shout.

"I can take care of myself Blake." She scoffs, her arms crossing over her chest. "I lead a mafia for fucks sake I don't need your babysitting."

"I'm not babysitting you Val, I'm trying to help." I say and she rolls your eyes.

"I'm going in whether you like it or not Blake." She says, trying to walk past me but I manage to get a hold of her wrist. She stops in her tracks, her green eyes finding mine. I can feel her breath on my lips from how close we are but I don't let that distract me (okay maybe just for a little bit.).

"I just want to set up our men with snipers so they keep an eye on you." I whisper. "I want to be close so I can protect you."

"Why? Why are you doing all of this?" Valentina's voice laced with uncertainty goes down a volume as she averts her gaze from mine.

"Because I–" I stop for a moment biting back the words I want to say. "I hate how I left you, and I hate that I left you."

"Blake, we both moved on." She sighs.

"I didn't." My whisper is barely audibke but Valentina catches it, her eyes flying uo to meet mine.

"Wh-"

"Just let me help you tonight okay?" I cut her sentence off, not wanting to dwell on my feelings too much. A brief moment of silence surrounds us, eyes locked, bodies too close and my hand still gently wrapped around her wrist. Valentina looks down taking her wtist from my grip before placing her hand on top of mine, she gently brushes her thumb over my knuckles a small smile climbing onto her lips.

"Okay, but everyone needs to hide well." She nods her head. "I can't lose her Blakey." The nickname falls so elegantly off her lips and I smile it feels as if she never stopped calling me that, as if we've been on good terms for years.

"I know." I say. "I'll get everyone in order don't worry."

The clock ticks 8 pm and I feel my blood circulating faster due to my heartbeat increasing, everything in me filled with anxiety.

All of our men are in place and I am hiding with them as we all watch Valentina, enter through massive black gates into a courtyard of a huge mansion. She doesn't seem nervous, her body language remains relaxed, but her hand which is tightly clenched into a fist reveals the amount of anger she's built up inside. The anger she's ready to release.

Out of the main door of the villa comes out a large man, known as Gerald Smith, the man who has Valentina's sister. He's accompanied by two body guards on his right and left, all of them holding heavy dangerous guns.

Valentina is wearing a microphone so we are able to listen in to the conversation.

"Right on time." Gerald says a smirk on his face contrasting the cold, lifeless stare he posseses.

"Where is she?" Valentina immediately responds, her voice is harhs and determined.

Gerald brings his finger up to his mouth before whistling. The doors open again two men carry out a teenage girls body, she's tied up but shure making an effort to escape their grasp.

"Valentina!" Lily exclaims as her eyes land on the biggest role model in her life. Her big sister.

"Lily! Are you okay?" Valentina asks, not knowing how much time she has before Gerald orders his men to take her away.
