"Thank you for the commentary, Valentina, it was so necessary. Not. We don't have time for this. Focus up, Calderu. We can be culturally offended later."

Jen said making a snide comment at Valentina before refocusing her attention onto Lilia, the comment did earn an eye roll out of Valentina, though.

"I was doing a reading for you."

Lilia said pointing at the boy, the ghost attached to Lilia seemed to think she was doing the wrong thing.

"It's all wrong."

The woman said, Valentina raising an eyebrow, but before she could question the ghost Billy spoke up.

"That's right."

Billy answered Lilia, the ghost who Valentina learned name was something like Maestra but she was bad with names so she could have been wrong, the ghost just shook her head.

"What went wrong?"

Lilia asked, causing the ghost to speak up again, this ghost was really starting to annoy Valentina with the cryptic answers she was getting.

"It's all wrong."

The ghost repeated, Billy went to say something but Valentina shushed him she needed answers from this woman.

"Okay. You're going to give me more than it's all wrong. What the fuck are you talking about?"

Valentina told the ghost, everyone looking at her weirdly, they didn't think there were any ghosts left after what had happened to her brother.

"Who are you talking to, Valentina?"

Billy asked, he was kind of scared the woman would just snap, but instead she took a deep breath, before answering.

"The ghost attached to Lilia. I think she said she was your Maestra, Lilia. And right now she's giving me really cryptic answers."

As Valentina said this Lilia looked at her as if she was about to cry.

"She's here?"

Lilia asked, tears welling in her eyes, Valentina just nodded, Lilia just wrapped Valentina in a hug which made the girl confused.

"What-"

Valentina was cut off when multiple swords fell from the roof, everyone starting to scream.

"We didn't even put any fucking cards down!"

Valentina screamed at the ceiling, they had completely gotten distracted from the question Valentina had asked the ghost.

"Maybe no cards is as bad as the wrong ones."

Billy said a little panicked, they were all panicked, they didn't want to die.

"I would argue the trial thinks it's worth because it's one sword per every wrong card. But it just dropped like five swords at once."

Alice told them, she wasn't wrong the room dropped more swords at once just then than it had before.

"What did i do wrong?"

Lilia asked herself again, once again getting a response out of the ghost.

"Everything."

Was all the ghost said, not that Lilia could hear it or was present with them when she said this.

💚🖤

"Stop. Stop, stop, stop. Stop, stop, stop."

Lilia said as she went through flashes of the past before finding herself back in front of her Maestra.
