Olivia woke up in a daze. She couldn't really remember what had happened past 9 pm last night. Her and Elliot were too far gone at that point. She sat up, and leaned against the headboard of her bed. As her eyes finally adjusted to the light, she could feel it. The head splitting headache had already set in, in that moment she vouched to herself that she'd never touch tequila again. She never did have the best track record of being able to control her actions when it came to tequila.
She began getting out of bed, swigging her legs over onto the floor. As she stood up, she nearly lost her balance, but this wasn't down to the tequila or the headache. She could feel it. She quickly racked her brain, trying to recollect last nights events, but to no avail. She tried to get ready for work, but every time she moved it was a constant reminder that she couldn't remember what or who she did last night. But with the soreness between her legs and the ache in her body, she knew.
She arrived at the precinct and began her work. Elliot wasn't at his desk but she didn't give it much thought. It wasn't uncommon for him to come in late the day after drinks, he was a lightweight.
It was around 10:30 when Elliot decided to finally make an appearance. He practically dragged himself into the squad room, as Olivia, Fin and Munch stared at him in disbelief.
'What the hell happened to you' Munch asked, as Elliot put his head on his desk.
'Seems he can't hack tequila' Olivia joked, causing Fin and Munch to laugh. As they laughed at him, Elliot raised his head looking at Olivia. They were normally very good at reading each other and knowing exactly what the other was thinking. But his face, she hadn't seen this look before and it was terrifying her.
Elliot got up to put his coat away, and as he did he gave Olivia a look that she was able to understand. They needed to talk and it was serious.
Olivia followed him into the locker room and closed the door behind them. When she turned around his head was leaned against the locker. She'd never seen him look like this before, for once she couldn't tell what he was thinking but she knew it wasn't going to be good.
'El what is it?' she said in a comforting tone, Elliot staring, almost blankly, right at her.
'Liv..' he sighed, 'Do you not remember what happened last night'
'Yeah...' she said confused, 'We went out for drinks?'
'No Liv...' he said running his hands down his face, 'After that'
'No?' she said, but panic was starting to set in. The wheels began turning in her head, putting the pieces back together.
'Oliv-' he began to say, before she put her hand out signalling him to stop.
'No no' she said, as she began pacing around the locker room, 'Don't say it Elliot'Olivia was starting to freak out. It was all coming back to her now, stumbling into her apartment, pulling each other's clothes off, the feeling of him insi-
She had to stop herself. She loved Elliot, she always had and deep down she knew that it was a mutual feeling. But they had always pushed those feelings aside, especially after what had happened a few years ago with Gitano.
'What are we going to do' she said, as she began to find her composure and gather her bearings.
'Liv I-i' he tried to talk, 'I don't regret it'
'Elliot..' she sighed, 'Listen. You know I love you but' she sighed again.
'But- but what' he questioned.
'El this can't happen. This can't be a thing' Olivia said, as she bowed her head down, in both embarrassment and disappointment. They stood there for a second, both staring at each other. They knew they had feelings for each other, but they had only just gained each other's trust again after Gitano and Olivia's undercover op.
They agreed to put it past them. Dealing with the complications, fallout and the feelings that came along with their little ordeal was more than either of them could handle right now. And that's exactly what they did, put it past them.

A little over a month had past since Elliot and Olivia's 'situation' had happened, at least that's what they referred to it as, the handful of times Elliot tried to bring it up over the past few weeks.
It wasn't that Olivia regretted it, it was the aftershock she didn't want to deal with. It would affect every aspect of her life, as well as everyone in it. She knew although Elliot and Kathy were separated, it would cause world war three. All his kids would hate her, not to mention at work. Cragen would separate them, Fin would try his best to kill Elliot and Munch. Well Munch would just enjoy questioning them about it and watching them cringe. They had to forget about it. Move on.
