Welcome to 𝒮𝒶𝓋𝑜𝓇𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒴𝑜𝓊, a short Thanksgiving romance story 🤍  Below is a description I put together for the story as I thought of the idea and I wanted to share it for those who like to know what to expect when they read a story.

Description:

Talise Jones had the perfect life to those on the outside looking in. She's beautiful, successful and we can't forget the fact that she's engaged to a fine, wealthy black man. Every woman's dream. *cough cough*

Often labeled heartless, selfish and uppity by her family, Talise breaks free from her abusive fiancé with too much pride to tell them what happened.

She had a persona to maintain and she didn't want anyone to see her broken. Anyone besides her best-friend of course, Jayla was the only person who kind of knew the real her, the side of her that didn't appear to be steel. 

She returns to her home town where her family and bestfriend lives for the holidays with a master plan to give back to her community by funding and hosting a Dinner and food drive for Thanksgiving.

While trying to execute her plan, of course she has to deal with reoccurring family drama, and her inescapable ex Darnell, who shows up just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving after her loved ones invite him— unaware of the situation.

It's one thing for him to find out where she was but another, to find out that another man had potentially had his woman. You know them nosey family members that be all up in ya business especially when you ain't one to share so they run their mouths? Piecing shit together like they know it all? Yeah that's the type she gotta deal with so prepare to be sick of them.

Zahir Shaw is one of the most well known chef's and caterers in town. After opening his third location in the city, business is only continuing to rise and his success is pouring out abundantly.

In the midst of all his hard work, his best friend Rico suggests his good friend needs to have a little fun. Down for whatever, Zahir agrees to a double date with the new girl Rico's been seeing and her best friend. Zahir knows what he brings to the table so he's one to go with the flow with women.

Unimpressed by the attitude that the undeniable beauty possessed, he's just about to call it night before she realizes her faults and decides to turn it around, making it a night to remember.

After a one night stand that felt more like a dream, he figures he should just let it be what it was. He hardly knew the woman anyway.

That is until they unexpectedly meet again when she is in desperate need of the very services that she didn't know he provided in order for her to save her Thanksgiving plan. Is it Fate or is it just a coincidence?

This story is completely fiction and made up from my mind of ideas, it'll most likely be cliche, fuzzy and cringey all at the same time LMAO.
