The wind was almost sharp enough to break skin, leaves fallen orange and red on the ground. It was obvious the autumn had settled in over Musutafu Japan. Children in the streets already going shopping for the next school year. The students of UA were no different, toughing out the cold weather for new school supplies and clothes. Currently, Bakugou was trailing behind his group of his classmates, hands shoved deep in his pockets to protect them from the cold. Although he didn’t care to show it, he was excited for his second year of the UA hero program.
The group soon found themselves inside the mall, their rosie cheeks slowly warming up. The mall was packed with fellow shoppers having the same idea as the group, loud chatter and the smell of the food court flooding their senses.
"What store should we go to first?” Mina asked no one in particular, clearly eager to get started.
They had ended up going to almost every store in the mall, including a silly toy shop Kaminari had insisted he would die if he didn’t go in. Bakugou had rolled his eyes through most of it, but still managed to get everything he needed, as well as a pile of new workout clothes.
They had eaten lunch together at the mall's food court, and at some point the once large group had been split up, leaving Katsuki with Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina, and Sero. On the way back to the dorms the sun had already begun to lower despite it only being 3 in the afternoon. The student's shadow became long and dark, frost forming on the blades of grass around.
Sero insisted that they take a short cut through an alleyway back, Bakugou foolishly believing that the black haired male actually knew where he was going..

You didn’t know where you were, but that wasn't out of the ordinary for you. It was dark and cold and your head hurt and the list went on and on, reasons for you to just stay lying on the concrete until you died. The rough feeling of gravel beneath your cheek was rather humbling. If you could cry you probably would be right now, however all emotion was trained -more like beaten- out of your being a long time ago. You wanted to scold yourself for your self loathing, but couldn’t bring yourself to even form a coherent thought.
Cuts and scrapes littered your body, and you were pretty sure you were concussed. That didn’t matter though, it's not like you could feel any of it, need you remind yourself of your quirk? You could choose whether or not you could feel pain, as well as any other emotion. If you were being honest, you’ve had it turned off for so long, you didn’t think you could turn it back on, as if the switch was stuck. This ability had come in handy on the numerous occasions when you had been shot, stabbed, or had your bones crushed.
You also could seem to die, like a plant being deprived of water and sunlight, yet still thriving. Your injuries would often heal alarmingly quickly, but maybe you just had some amazing genetics.
You noticed you were drifting in and out of consciousness. Finally you would get some shut eye. A part of you tried to stop you from allowing yourself to be so vulnerable in public, however you just couldn’t bring yourself to get up. You told yourself once you woke up you would get back to… whatever task you were doing. You couldn’t seem to remember now..

Katsuki wished he had never listened to Sero. they were definitely lost down some random alley, and it was only getting colder. Sero was clearly panicking, but still attempting to act like he knew where he was.
Bakugou walked up behind the black haired man and lightly smacked him on the back of his head.
“Just admit we’re lost already”, the blond grumbled.
Katsuki decided to take the lead, trying to find a street he recognized to lead to the group home.
“Guys what if there’s villains around here?”
“Shut up Kaminari, we are literally hero students”
Bakugou stopped in his tracks and squinted and something ahead of him, the others seemed to notice it too. He began carefully walking towards the dark mound on the ground until he was close enough to realize it was an actual person.
He kneeled down beside the girl who he guessed was around his age. Blood ran down her temple and the rest of her body didn’t seem to be in any better condition. Katsuki let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding when he found her pulse, proving she was still alive.
“Someone call Aizawa”. Katsuki ordered while laying his jacket over the girl's figure. She was freezing, her lips almost purple.“Umm guys? Aizawa wants to know where we are."
Bakugou ended up carrying the girl back the way they had come until they reached a main street. She was shockingly light and he cringed as some of the girl's blood got on his shirt. Katsuki lightly activated his quirk to keep the girl warm, her (s/c) skin was like ice in his hands.
Aizawa drove the girl, Katsuki and Kirishima to the hospital, the other teens opting to stay behind. There wouldn't have been enough room in the car for them regardless.
The girl’s head rested on Katsuki’s shoulder in the back seat, and he noticed how her (h/c) hair shimmered even in the dim light.
Kirishima smirked at his friend and wiggled his eyebrows at him.
“Never seen you so focused kat." Katsuki wished he could punch him, instead he settled on glaring as hard as he could at him.
The trip to the hospital was quick, and when the nurses saw Aizawa walk in they had a room ready for them just as quickly. All eyes were on the doctor once she finished her initial exam.
“She has two broken ribs, deep cuts on her arms and back, and is probably concussed. Lucky for her she’s knocked out or she’d be in incredible pain.”.

You awoke to white blinding lights above you, making you instantly shut your eyes again. There was something soft under your pounding head. The smell around you stung your nose, and a steady beep irritated your ears. Yet again you had no idea where you were, but you knew you were somewhere different that earlier.
You peeled your eyes open for the second time, somehow managing to keep them open this time. You noticed one of your wrists was handcuffed to the side railing of the bed you were in.
Your mind drifted to what shigaraki was doing right now, he was probably panicking over your absence. Not because he cared, but because he needed you. The League needed you to carry out their messier jobs. Maybe this was for the best, you were tired of doing his bidding.
Something in the corner of the room moved and you were suddenly hyper aware of the fact that you weren’t alone. In fact, there was three others, you recognized one to be Eraserhead. He had busted you once before, but there was no evidence to actually connect the petty crime with you or the LOV so they had to let you go.
You groaned, accidentally alerting the other people in the room that you were awake.
"Oh good, you're up, how are you feeling?” Aizawa asked with an almost condescending tone, you debated even answering.
“Fine”
“You should be screaming in agony”
“Is that so." This conversation was violently passive aggressive, the gruff man clearing still holding a grudge. You may have yelled some less than savory things at him, but you have since chilled out. The two other people in the room were clearly comically confused, but you were not about to explain.
"What’s with the handcuff? Did I commit a crime?." Your tone was teasing, at this point you were just rubbing salt in the wound. He ignored your comment in favor of informing a nurse you were awake.
"You’re staying here until I figure out what to do with you”
“Is that legal?”You never got an answer.
