"You either get it to someone or score yourself. Take it." He patted my shoulder. I ran back towards the ball and looked at the angle.

Your POV:

The ref blew the whistle.

"Look at how the wall is positioned. Get enough power on the ball to lift it over the wall and curve it. Aim for the corner."

I remembered when Cheney helped me with free kicks. I took a deep breath and kicked it.

I started to hop a little to the side to watch the ball, like I usually do when I take a free kick.

It was going for the goal. The corner.

The keeper jumped for it but she didn't get it in time.

"GOAL!"

"Yeah buddy." I turned towards our goalkeeper. "DON'T FAIL ME NOW!"

I felt weight on my back.

"Goal in the 93rd minute scored by Y/N L/N. Sky Blue FC leads 3-2."

We played and applied pressure to keep the ball away from them. The game ended.

"Sky Blue 3. Chicago Red Stars 2."

We shook hands with the players. Both teams walked over to sign autographs.

Ally's POV:

I watched as Y/N met fans. Even though she was on the away team, the young kids were still so happy to meet them. And even after playing for 94 minutes, she still had that beautiful smile on her face.

What am I saying? I'm dating Troy.

"Now's your chance." Lauren said. We moved closer and she pushed me to walk towards Y/N. Right when I was gonna get closer some guy walked up to her. 

"Hey." He said. 

It was that Jake kid.

"Hi." I heard her say. She had a smile on her face.

They started talking and I felt my blood boil. I turned around and walked passed the girls.

"Ally! What's wrong?" Normani asked.

"That Jake kid! He's here!" I pointed. I started walking again.

"Hey guys." We ran into Kelley. "Long time no see. How are you?"

"Great." Lauren answered hugging her. I crossed my arms.

"What's wrong with you?" 

"That Jake kid." Lauren looked over in their direction.

"Oh." Kelley nodded. "Don't worry. She's not into him." She smiled. "I'll be back." She ran off.

"See Ally. Nothing to worry about."
