A/n: Spoiler Warning!!!

"Down, down, down the road. Down the witches road," I sing, glancing between my coven sisters, still not sure about this.

They insisted we'd do this. I didn't understand and still don't, why we need to walk the witches road.
It's a myth, nothing more.

But they claim the witch opposite of me, Agatha Harkness knows how to enter the road. So, now we're here and I feel very strange about it. Nothing about this feels right.

There's probably something about it that I don't know. All my coven sisters are older, have more experience, so I trust them. They were excited for this and to have found Agatha.

I keep my eyes on the woman with dark, almost wild hair, singing her heart out while her eyes trace over each of us. When her eyes meet mine, I feel a weird shiver running down my back.

"Follow me my friend, to glory at the end," we sing, the song fading out and echoing in the woods around us.
The silence is thick and heavy, pressing down on us.
I let go of the hands holding mine, looking around.

What's supposed to happen now?
I was told, we'd find the road as soon as we sung this. Agatha told us herself that a door will appear. But there is no door anywhere in sight and no promising glow of magic either.

"Where is it?" Juliette asks, looking around almost frantically. Her powers have been fading lately and she has been hoping to get them back from walking the road.

Agatha looks around, face almost stoic, until it twists into an annoyed expression.

"It should be here! Were the instructions not clear?" Agatha yells, growing angry. I look around, the uneasiness inside me growing strong, urging me to flee.
But I'm here with my coven, I won't leave them. What would I do without them anyway?

"We did as you told us!" Juliette yells back. She calls the shots in our coven, being the oldest and wisest.

"Clearly not! Otherwise, there would be a door now! You're useless, pathetic, not good for anything!"
Agatha turns her glare on Juliette. She seems about as angry as Juliette.

Her words hit me more than I'd admit. I did my very best and so did the others. Why did the door not appear?

Juliette lets out a scream and gathers her magic in her hands. My coven sisters follow her. In the same second, they blast it at Agatha, making me gasp. So much power can cause major harm, if not death.

Agatha cackles and tilts her head back, eyes closed and arms stretched out. As if she was enjoying this.
None of this makes sense, she should not enjoy this. Not that I'm for killing her, but this is certainly not how things work.

She laughs even more and I watch my sisters grow pale, their skin breaking. The blasts of magic turn purple and look like they suck the magic out of them. How is that possible?

I stumble back, fear coursing through my body, my instinct too overwhelming to stay here.
With my eyes still on the purple glowing witch, I retreat and bring some distance between me and her.
I lean against a tree, my heart thumping in my chest and my palms sweaty. I wipe them at my coat before covering my mouth with one hand to stop myself from screaming or crying.

It's almost like I can feel the life being sucked out of my sisters, leaving me all by myself.

I sink down against the tree, the bark rough as I slide against it, pulling my knees up to my chest.

What kind of scheme is this?
This is not the road that was promised! Tears well up in my eyes but I force myself to stay quiet, even though my whole body is vibrating with fear.
