"Mommy will be right back, okay?" The mother kisses her daughter on the top of her head before setting her down onto the ground.
Evelina looks up at her mother, not understanding why her mother has to go anywhere.

"Just sit here and be good, will you?"

Evelina nods, sitting down on the forest ground and grabbing a few sticks to play with. The mother watches her for a few moments longer, her heart soft with love for her three-year-old.

She's doing this for her. Walking the witches road, allowing her coven to gain power. Power that will protect her daughter.

Once the door to the road appears, she will get the little one and take her with her. But she would just interrupt the ceremony of the opening.

The mother and her coven wander through the woods and up to a clearing. She looks back, making sure her daughter is okay.
Agatha awaits them, her arms held out to the sides, welcoming them.

They arrange themselves in a circle, take each other's hands and wait for the go.
Agatha grins at them and starts with the first note of the song. Her face doesn't give away the anticipation she feels, the excitement to feel her powers grow in just a few minutes.

People are fools, she thinks, continuing the song. They all fall for it and every time, it's almost unfair.

The song echoes through the woods, reaching Evelina. She smiles, hearing her mother sing with her coven, just like they do every night to put her to sleep. Unbeknownst to her, this time, it will put all of them to sleep, forever.

As the women sing the last verse of the song and wait for anything to happen, the trees stand still, not even a breeze around them.

Agatha is the first one to let go of the hands she was holding to look around, apparently searching for the door.
The entrance of the witches road is supposed to appear, once the song is done. That's what the legend says, but there is no door or entrance anywhere in sight.

"What did you do? Where is it?" She screams at the witches. They just look confused and search for the door as well.

"You're worthless, not even capable of summoning a simple door! How did you even expect to pass the trials of the road if you can't even make it there?! You're all weak!"

Anger brews in the witches and without so much as looking at each other, they all blast Agatha with their powers.
But Agatha just laughs, tilting her head back and enjoying the ticklish feeling of absorbing everyone's powers.

This is her favorite part of all. The anger of other witches and how easy they are to manipulate. Having a coven would be nice, but having power is so much more rewarding.

She cackles and ends the absorbing with a cut of her hand. The witches fall to the ground, empty and lifeless.

Agatha exhales and gathers the purple magic in her hand, watching it grow. Who knew it would turn out to be so rewarding to kill other witches?
For her it's everything, her favorite thing to do. And what happens after isn't too bad either.

She leans against a tree and waits. It doesn't take longer than a few minutes before Rio appears out of thin air. Her outfit a mix of green and black, barefoot and with a grin on her face.

"You can't help but to wait for me, can you?" She asks, eyes on Agatha, not even caring about the dead bodies or their souls. She will take them with her, but for now, she has another interest.

"Maybe I'm just hoping for one of their souls to choke you one day," Agatha replies dryly, flicking some dirt off her skirt. Rio grins, stepping closer.
