After their fiery exchange in the courtyard, Nina wanted nothing more than to put Aniket out of her mind. She focused on finding her arts class, hoping to lose herself in her passion and escape his arrogance, if only for an hour. The art studio was a sanctuary, with sunlight spilling in through tall windows, bathing canvases and stacks of supplies in a warm, inviting glow. The familiar scent of paint, charcoal, and linseed oil filled the air, grounding her with a rare sense of comfort.Finding an empty easel by the window, she took a deep breath and set down her sketchbook and brushes. This was her world-a place where she didn't need to prove herself, didn't need to fend off anyone's judgment. Here, her work spoke louder than words, and she could truly be herself.
But just as she began to sketch, the room's quiet hum of conversation died abruptly. An instinct made her look up. Her heart sank as she saw the reason for the sudden silence.
