"What do you think of this one, Win?" Yoko asked, a playful grin tugging at her lips as she twirled in front of her son, showcasing yet another dress. Later that day, Faye had an event at work, and Yoko and Win were expected to be there to accompany her.
Win, who had been sitting on the floor playing with his toy trains, looked up with a thoughtful expression. His nose scrunched slightly as he took in the sight of his mother in the dress.
Yoko stifled a giggle, enjoying the way her son was intently analyzing her. "You don't like it?" she asked, her voice teasing. She placed her hand on her hip and cocked her head. "Do I look ugly in it, Winny?"
Win immediately stood, shaking his head vigorously. "You look so pretty, mommy!" he exclaimed, rushing over to her with wide eyes. He stopped in front of her, looking her up and down before his gaze fixed on the hem of the dress. "But... why is it so short?" He tugged lightly at the bottom, his little fingers brushing the fabric. "I think Mom won't like it."
Yoko's lips curled into a smile. It was amusing how Win picked up on things adults didn't expect him to, especially when it came to things like showing too much skin. He was so much like his mom.
"You're right," Yoko said, crouching down to his level and placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Mom probably wouldn't like it either." She gave him a playful pout. "But then, what am I supposed to wear?"
Win's eyebrows knit together thoughtfully, then he dashed over to her closet. Amused, Yoko followed, watching as he scanned the rows of dresses in her walk-in closet, his little face adorably focused.
"Mommy, you would look so pretty in this one!" he declared, tugging on a long, elegant red dress that Yoko had nearly forgotten about. Faye had bought it for her months ago as a surprise, but she'd kept it in the closet, hesitant to wear it. She knew it had cost Faye a small fortune.
Yoko's lips pursed as she lifted the dress off the rack. Despite how well-off they were thanks to Faye's job as a CEO, she still felt a little nervous about wearing something so lavish. The fear of ruining it was very present.
"You think so?" Yoko murmured, turning to the mirror and holding the dress in front of her, trying to picture how it would look on her. The red fabric draped beautifully against her, and she had to admit that it suited her. Faye had always known her tastes, picking out things she wouldn't have chosen herself but couldn't help but love.
Win nodded enthusiastically, his eyes shining. "Yes! You'll look like a princess, Mommy. And it's long, so Mom will think it's perfect!"
Yoko couldn't help but smile at her son's excitement. It was clear Win hadn't noticed that the top of the dress was a bit revealing, but she decided to keep that detail to herself. She'd chosen the dress, and that was final. Besides, Faye should theoretically have no objections-after all, she had picked it out herself as a gift.
"Alright, this will be the dress, then," Yoko grinned, carefully placing it back on the rack before reaching out to take Win's hand. "Now we need to get you in the bath so you can look equally as handsome as Faye will in that white suit you two picked out together."
Win's eyes sparkled as he replied confidently, "I'll look more handsome, though." His serious tone made Yoko stifle a laugh, nodding as if considering his statement thoughtfully.
"Definitely," she agreed, giving him a playful wink. "Your mom's got nothing on you."

"Do I look like a princess, baby?" Yoko asked, posing playfully in front of Win, her lips curving into a gentle smile as she watched his reaction.
Win looked up at her, his eyes wide and filled with awe, and the way he took her in with such admiration warmed her heart in a way few things could. "Yes, so, so beautiful, Mommy," he murmured softly, his voice barely above a whisper, as if he were afraid speaking any louder might disrupt the magic of the moment.
