Why and how did she even get on this team? That brat is nothing but a nuisance, we are better off without her. I glanced at the time on my phone, 10.34 pm. Did i really manage to deal with her for two hours straight?! I'm can be considered a god at this point. Her parents must have probably threw her out of the window when she was a newborn or something.

Suddenly something snapped out of my thoughts, i felt a small force hit my shoulder, I turned my head only to see that idiot's head on my shoulder.

As we finally reached the HQ after a long and exhausting ride, I was met with a unique problem. The sleeping brat on my back was proving to be quite a challenge to wake up. I tried shaking her lightly, but it was like trying to wake the dead.

"Bloody hell, can you wake up already?" I muttered, trying to keep my annoyance in check.

After a good twenty minute drive, we finally reached the HQ. I tried shaking her awake but damn, she slept like a dead person, literally.

"Fuck it."

I picked her up lightly and placed her on my back before walking to the HQ. Rei, who was following close behind with her bags in his hands, must have noticed my predicament. He suggested that he could carry her instead, but I declined, not wanting him to strain his back.

I did consider dropping her and just waking her up with a rude shock, but the thought of dealing with her attitude afterwards didn't seem worth it. Besides, I wasn't trying to be a bastard or anything.

"No, it's fine." I whispered back, not wanting to wake the sleeping beauty on my back. "I'll manage."

Before he could utter another word, the sleeping brat on my back let out a small groan, shifting slightly in her sleep. I froze for a moment, hoping that she hadn't woken up. The last thing I needed right now was to deal with her attitude. But thankfully, she just snuggled closer into my back, mumbling something indecipherable in her sleep.

"Great, now she's a clingy sleeper. Looks like I have a new pillow for the night."

I muttered under my breath, glancing at Rei with a look of exasperation, silently cursing the brat for sleeping so deeply.

With a resigned sigh, I adjusted her position on my back, making sure she was comfortable at least

"Can you at least open the doors for me, old man?"

Rei glared at my cheeky remark.

"Watch your manners, kid."

He swatted the back of my head before opening the doors to the HQ, gesturing for me to go inside.

We walked in, with me still carrying the sleeping brat on my back. The HQ was quiet at this late hour, and the soft sound of our footsteps echoed through the empty hallways. But thankfully, no one else was around to witness this embarrassing sight.
