San opened the door, finding his cousin Seonghwa standing there, looking anxious and holding his mobile phone in one hand.

“Hey, San", Seonghwa greeted, his usually calm expression wavering.
“Can I come in? I need to talk to you.”

“Sure,” San replied, stepping aside.
“You look...nervous, hyung?”

Seonghwa exhaled heavily as he sank into the couch.
“I won't be opening the café today. Hongjoong's parents invited me over for dinner tonight. First time meeting them properly like this, and I’m freaking out a bit”, he admitted, glancing up sheepishly.

San gave him a comforting pat on the shoulder.
“Ah~ Don't you worry. You'll be fine, hyung. His parents will see how great you are—and besides, you’re running a café all by yourself! That’s impressive!”

“Thanks, Sanni. But lately... you know the café hasn’t been doing as well as I’d hoped. Sometimes I feel like my efforts aren't enough", Seonghwa muttered, his voice quiet.

“Don’t say like that, hyung. Everyday, I see how hard you work for the café”, San said, nudging him gently.
“I’ll keep helping you out whenever I can, and we’ll find ways to bring in more customers. When the time comes, you’ll have a business to be proud of—and so will Hongjoong hyung's family”, He grinned, his tone full of certainty.
“They’ll see what an amazing person Hongjoong has by his side. Loyal, smart and Hardworking", San snaked his hand around the older boy and squeezed him into a quick hug.

Seonghwa’s face softened, the tension easing just a bit.
“Thanks, Sanni. You’re right. I can do this!”, He smiled, hugging the younger back.

Just then, a faint thump came from San’s bedroom, both of them pulling away from the hug.
"What was that noise?", Seonghwa blinked, surprised.

“Uh...probably nothing", San tried to play it off, waving a dismissive hand, knowing exactly who caused it.

But Seonghwa, ever the cautious one, stood up.
“But I definitely heard something. Let me check. You’re here alone, right?”
San quickly followed, nerves creeping up. Before Seonghwa could reach the door, a sleek black cat padded out of the room, tail swaying cautiously.
“Oh!” San said, putting on his best casual tone. “That’s just Woo—a stray I found last night. I’m... thinking of keeping him. Isn't he beautiful?”, San chimed, making eye contact with the feline, who gazed back with bright, mischievous green eyes.

Seonghwa's eyes lit up as Wooyoung trotted closer, letting out a soft whine.
"A stray? Aww, he's adorable!", Seonghwa cooed, reaching down to scratch behind Wooyoung's ears. Wooyoung looked a bit wary at first, but as he saw the warmth in the older boy's eyes, he inched closer, allowing the gentle petting. Still in cat form, Wooyoung purred and leaned into Seonghwa’s touch, eventually rubbing his face against Seonghwa's fist.
