It was a another cloudy day in Seattle, Washington and Sky was more excited than she's ever been. She's been waiting for this day ever since she got that acceptance letter from UCLA, yes, Los Angeles. Sky has been to many places, but never LA and now, she was going to be attending college there. Everything was better in LA: the weather, the food, the people, and of course the malls. Leaving Washington was not going to be hard at all, she didn't have anyone close here except her mom, and nothing exciting ever happens, anyways she was used to moving all the time.
"Skylar! Hurry or you're going to miss your flight honey."
"Okay Mom. I'll be down in a minute!"
Even though her things have been packed for almost two weeks, she had to make sure everything was there, couldn't risk forgetting something. One more look in the mirror. She finally felt ready, and all the excitement showed in her beautiful green eyes, and she whispered to herself "It's go time."
**In the Car**
"You have your passport, dorm info, campus map..."
"MOM! I have EVERYTHING", chuckles ,"Don't worry so much."
"Honey I know, but I just want to make sure that you're going to be alright", sigh, "California is far baby."
" I know, and I'll make sure to call you everyday. But if I don't get out of this car right now, we might be booking another flight!"
" Okayyy", chuckles, "Be safe, and call me when you land."
" Of course", kisses cheek, "I love you mom."
" I love you too baby."
