Little Red PT.4 - I Hope You Never Grow Up

Request: you should do a chapter where red starts slipping in class and chloe makes sure to get red back to the dorm to take care of her before anyone could notice

The bell rang, and Chloe quickly packed up, heading to Red's locker. They had 5th period History together, and it was always the pair's favorite class of the day. (can anyone guess why??🤔🤭)

Chloe opened her own locker and grabbed her history textbook, but jumped back when she saw a face appear when she slammed the locker closed. "Red, hi!" Chloe beamed, watching Red take her hand, hands interlocked as they walked to class. After a few minutes of silence, Chloe spoke up. "You're oddly quiet. Anything you wanna share sweets?"

"Nope." Red glared at her girlfriend, changing her expression when they arrived at the class and sat down at their desks. Luckily the two sat next to each other, so Chloe could make sure Red was okay.

Halfway into class Chloe felt a weight on her shoulder. She turned to her right to be met with a sleepy looking Red who was leaning on the bluenette's shoulder. The teacher was still facing the board so she tuned out the lecture he was currently giving so she could give her full attention to Red. Gently, she shook the girl's shoulder, whispering a quiet call of her name.

"This is what happens when you don't tell me you're feeling little right before freaking class." Chloe whispered under her breath, though it was more for herself than for the little beside her. "Red, look at me honey." Chloe murmured into the girl's ear.

Sleepy eyes met Chestnut ones, and Chloe whispered to the girl again. "How old are you feeling honey?" Red stared at her hand, thinking hard for a moment before holding five fingers.

Chloe cursed under her breath. "Okay.. uhm.." The bluenette quickly rummaged through her bag. Red had refused to keep any little stuff in her own bag, convinced she would never slip during school hours, which of course was just proven false. Luckily Chloe always had a few spare things for her girlfriend. She found nothing that would help her little, at least not without being completely obvious. And she wouldn't want Red to be bullied or something for sucking on a pacifier during class. "Alright.." Chloe turned to face her little, who was currently looking around the room with curious eyes.

"Red." The girl snapped her head to face Chloe, a fearful expression on her face as she teared up at the tone Chloe used. "No, no no no. Please don't cry. I'm sorry, my tone was awful. Please don't cry, at least not until we get back to the dorm if you can't hold it in." Chloe whispered, looking around at everyone else before soothingly rubbing the little's back. Most of the other students were wrapped up in taking notes, but inconveniently, the large group of bullies were staring right at Red.

Okay. I just have to figure out how to get Red and me out of class, preferably out of school the entire day, avoiding any suspicion.

"Miss Hearts, sleeping in class again?" Chloe jerked her head to Red, who was sure enough, half-asleep in her chair. The girl was staring wide-eyed at the professor, but Chloe could notice a hint of fear and panic in her gaze.

"Actually..! Mr. Williams, Red and I forgot we had to speak with Principal Uma during this period. You wouldn't mind if we went now, I mean, we wouldn't want her to assume you were hoarding us away from her, so.."

"May I ask why, or is it on a need-to-know basis as per usual Miss Charming." The teacher rolled his eyes at the pair's weekly antics.

"Unfortunately.." Chloe nodded, a sarcastic smile on her face.

"Alright, fine, go. As long as I don't get in trouble again. That especially goes for you, Miss Hearts."

"Thanks!" Chloe flashed him her usual Charming smile as he turned back to face the board to continue teaching. As soon as his back was turned and the class had lost interest in the duo's antics, she turned to face her rebel. "Do you think you can walk, sweet girl?" Chloe whispered, relief coaxing her expression as the rebel nodded her head.

Chloe quickly packed both of their things, carrying both of their bags as she coaxed Red out of the classroom. Once the door was shut, the Charming girl shut her eyes with a silent sigh. "Okay, come on sweetheart, let's go back to the dorm and I'll talk with Principal Uma for a pass or something."

Chloe fiddled with the keys to their dorm, opening the Christmas decorated door, letting Red settle on their fluffy red carpet.

"Okay hon, what do you wanna do?" Chloe smiled softly, walking over and crouching where the redhead was sat.

"Bluey cuddles!" The girl lisped, reached her arms up at her Bluey, a cheshire grin on the little's face.

"Of course, little one." Chloe wasted no time before gently wrapping her arms around the girl, setting the toddler on her lap as her hand weaved through red locks.

"Do you want your paci, mon petit?" Chloe was already digging through her Little drawer to find a clean pacifier when Red nodded against her chest, thumb in mouth, which Chloe quickly replaced with her blue paci.

"There you go." Chloe hummed a soft tune while gently rocking the girl back and forth, surprised when the little whined. "What's wrong baby?"

"Wan' bluey sing!" The girl whimpered through the pacifier, fussing around in Chloe's lap.

"Okay, settle down, it's okay. I can sing." Chloe soothed, tucking the girl's head on her chest.

"Who put the baby in charge, it's already hard to buy all the parts and learn to use them. Who put the world on my back and not in my hands, just give me a chance." Red calmed down at the sound of Chloe's voice, cuddling closer to the bluenette. "Listen to my mama, listen to my dad, listen to my sisters, everyone relax. Everyone answers stuff I didn't ask. Think I'm reaching my limit." Chloe smiled softly down at her little who was on the verge of sleep. "Can I exhale for a minute? Can I get this out in the open? Can I sit down for a second? Can I breathe?" Chloe hummed the rest of the song as she shifted Red's weight onto her hip, and carefully maneuvered the girl onto Chloe's bed.

Chloe later popped by to Uma's office to explain for her and Red's random absence before heading back to cuddle her baby more.
