Asking me, "how was your day?" is good to hear. Making me feel and know that someone cares. Someone loves me enough to attend to my whole day life.
Telling me, "good evening," is really something that makes me feel - no matter how bad your day was, it is still better to start a good evening.
And saying to me, "i miss you," making me feel - you are not alone. That someone is there for me throughout the day and night. He may not be physically present but he is mentally and emotionally with me.
