It was 12am and I logged on to Facebook and saw a friend request from Edward Sheeran. I saw that he had a mutual friend with me, his girlfriend Scarlett. I knew him from school but no one really liked him because they thought he was weird. I did try and make conversations with him but he only replied with one word and always looked at the ground so I ended up not talking to him anymore. I clicked onto messages and I messaged him. "Hi Edward. How are you?" He had amazing ginger hair with beautiful blue eyes, I felt a tinge of jealousy because of Ed and Scarlett together. "I'm feeling shit! For fuck sake" He replied. I didn't know how to respond and so looked on his page, it said single. "What's wrong? If you don't mind me asking..." I typed slowly, my stomach twisting into knots. "Scarlett broke up with me yesterday!" My heart dropped, they looked so cute together, of course I fancied him but that wasn't the point. "I'll let you calm down, I'll speak to you tomorrow" I typed. I went to bed and dreamt about him...
By the time I finished my housework it was 1pm and I got my laptop out and it turns out he had messaged me. "Soo, it's been 2 days since Scarlett broke up with me and she's already got a date... So do you want to meet me at Nando's at 4pm tonight?" I didn't know what to say back, I felt embarrassed because Scarlett was my friend. "Sure, I'll be there" I wrote and quickly threw the laptop onto my bed. I flung my wardrobe open and put on a red cocktail dress with red heels and smokey make up. I styled my hair and grinned at the mirror.
I read a book and it was time! I got into my pink mini cooper and drove to nandos. I was greeted there by Ed. He was wearing a black suit with his black converse! I was glad he dressed down with his shoes but I felt like I was too dressy. "Hello" He smiled as he took my hand. "You look beautiful" I blushed, I had never been told that I was beautiful before. "Thank you. You look handsome too" I whispered. He took me through a back room where there was a small table with a white table cloth and a candle in the middle. The room was dimmed and there was confetti on the table. He pulled out my chair and I sat down. I ordered the Chicken Breast Fillet wrap and he chose the 1/4 chicken with chips. We ate and chatted. I couldn't stop looking into his blue eyes. When we had finished he paid the whole bill, I insisted that we pay half each but he forced me to let him pay. We stepped out side and he grabbed my arms and made me face him. He hugged me, bent down and carefully planted his smooth and soft lips against mine. We kissed for 5 minutes without breath. He carefully pulled away, "I love you" He said in a harmonious tone. "I love you too" I whispered. He smiled at me and hugged me tighter then before.
