Hi, I'm Jason, and I guess you could say I'm just your average 16-year-old. I like video games, hate math, and spend most of my time trying to avoid awkward conversations at school. I live with my mom and my little sister, Ellie—she's ten and way too obsessed with horses. Dad... well, he left when I was six, so it's just been the three of us for a while. Mom works long hours at the hospital, which idnt as bad as it sounds, so i get to watch Ellie,. We get along, mostly.
Nothing too special about me, really. Or at all, that's what I thought—until a glowing crystal ball decided to ruin my night. Now, I'm stuck in this weird place with glowing plants, a purple sky, and a guy with a head made of fire telling me I've been 'chosen' to save a world I didn't even know existed. I don't even have time to process this, let alone worry about mum and ellie. Yeah, I don't really get it either. But here I am, and it's too late to turn back now.
