(Y/N's POV)

The living room was very quiet and the only sound I hear is my cat purring as she sits on my lap. I put down my phone on the coffee table infront of me and leaned back on my seat as I kept the quiet atmosphere. I began to mumble while thinking of the previous messages I had with Karina, "How can Jimin be that harsh? or maybe that's just how she is?"

I felt conflicted with my own thoughts, and I began to mess my hair up leaning forward close to the coffee table. Then a thought came to mind that maybe she thought I was hitting on her, and that I was actually trying.

"Maybe Kai was telling the truth. She doesn't like guys in general?" I said under my breath as I heard my phone buzz a couple of times. "Why did I come here so late? I could've known her better," I said mumbling to myself as I took my phone from the coffee table seeing all the notifications I got. It was all messages from Kai about some guy and a few funny messages.

As I put my phone down, I closed my eyes and contemplate whether or not should I go out since it's past eight. At this time of night, I should be sleeping soundly, and not outside hanging out with friends. "I really dislike these spur of a moment kind of things," I said under my breath as I lean my head back on my seat.

I was still contemplating and in thoughts, trying to decide if I should stand up and get ready to meet Kai or just stay here all night and scroll through my phone. While I was having a conflict, I looked down on my hand holding Winter's crimson red ribbon which made me smile a bit.

"When will she fetch this ribbon?" I asked myself and stood up as I finally decided to get ready and meet up with Kai. I'm a bit exhausted but I gathered all of my remaining energy to meet up with friends. Not only am I exhausted from school, I'm also exhausted from previous family quarrels with my father.

A few minutes passed, and I eventually left my apartment. When I opened the door, the outside world was so quiet and the only sound I heard were crickets, cars passing by, and a few loud neighbors. My eyes were very lazy since I'm exhausted, but I got all my energy to stand up. It's cause I'm supposed to be asleep at this time of night.

I groaned as I walk through the balcony, feeling the cold breeze of air as I pass each apartment door one by one until the stairs. While walking through the balcony, I was complaining about the walk to my part-time job where I'll be meeting up with Kai. The establishment is about a few blocks away, and I don't feel like walking.

My part-time job is just delivering chickens to people who orders, and we also deliver kimchi. I have been working there since the day I left my parent's home, and got an apartment from working my ass off. My hardwork kind of explains why Mr. Jeon and I have a good bond together.
