Chapter 1: The Challenge of Hands**

It was a special night: a mutual friend's birthday party. The room was lit with colorful lights, and the sound of music blended with lively conversations. However, Taehyung and Jungkook were far from sharing the same joy. Their last fight had been intense, and both were visibly tense.

The couple's friends knew the pattern well: Taehyung and Jungkook would argue, and inevitably, they were forced to follow a peculiar agreement they had made. Whenever they were truly angry with each other, they had to stay holding hands for the entire night. The idea was simple but effective—it forced them to stay close and, eventually, calmed the tension.

As the night went on, Taehyung and Jungkook were indeed holding hands. Their friends, who noticed the situation, watched with a mix of understanding and amusement. Their behavior had become almost a tradition separate from the parties, and it was clear to everyone that it was part of the couple's reconciliation process.

Taehyung, trying to break the ice, looked at Jungkook and smiled, even if it was a forced smile. Jungkook's hand was cold and tense in his, but Taehyung was determined to break the barrier.

— "Hey, my beautiful one," Taehyung began, using a sweet and affectionate tone that was unmistakable. "Are you okay?"

Jungkook looked straight ahead, ignoring Taehyung and trying to remain impassive. But Taehyung was not willing to give up so easily. He continued, his voice filled with almost irresistible tenderness.

— "You know, you're my favorite teddy bear," Taehyung said, trying a cute nickname. "I just wanted you to know that."

Jungkook made an effort not to smile, but his face was starting to show signs of softening. Taehyung noticed the crack and decided to intensify his approach. He gently pulled Jungkook's hand, making him turn slightly toward him.

— "I know you're upset, but let me show you how special you are to me," Taehyung said, softly pressing his lips to Jungkook's cheek.

Jungkook tried to resist, but the affectionate kiss made his heart beat faster. He could no longer ignore Taehyung and started looking into his eyes. The tension began to melt under Taehyung's sweet persistence.

— "Please, just talk to me," Taehyung pleaded, his voice gentle as he kissed the corner of Jungkook's lips.

Jungkook finally gave in, and with a deep sigh, he looked at Taehyung. The expression on his face was a mix of frustration and affection.

— "You're impossible," Jungkook murmured, but his voice was filled with a tenderness that couldn't be ignored.

Taehyung smiled, relieved and satisfied. He tilted his head and gave Jungkook a light kiss on the lips. The gesture was the last piece that melted Jungkook's reservations.

— "I know you love me," Taehyung said softly, running a finger along Jungkook's face.

— "I love you too," Jungkook replied, his voice now full of genuine affection.

They embraced, their hands still intertwined, while the party continued around them. Despite their arguments and challenges, they always found their way back to each other. The agreement to stay holding hands throughout the night was more than just a rule; it was a reminder that, even when they were angry, their love prevailed, always sealed with a kiss and a gesture of affection to mark the reconciliation.
