He has inherited a kingdom with a rich history but faces the modern challenges of leadership, diplomacy, and the simmering unrest within certain factions of the nobility.

Plot Summary:
During an elaborate spring festival celebrating the waters of Sapta Pura—a festival marking the source of prosperity in the kingdom—Viraj learns of a potentially catastrophic event: heavy storms are brewing in the Southern Oceans, threatening to send torrents of water surging up the kingdom’s river, flooding its villages and farmlands. While the people revel in the festival, unaware of the looming disaster, Viraj, alongside his trusted advisors and his wife Saanvi, quickly takes action to prevent the tragedy.

Viraj’s resolve is tested as he navigates through political barriers posed by local lords, who dismiss the news as mere rumors. Undeterred, Viraj devises an emergency plan to build flood barriers and evacuate villages along the riverbanks. Working tirelessly alongside his soldiers and citizens, he demonstrates an unwavering commitment to his people. The flood arrives, ferocious and unstoppable, but thanks to Viraj’s leadership and the unity of Sapta Pura’s people, they manage to mitigate the damage, saving countless lives and much of the kingdom's resources.

This chapter is a reflection of Vishnu’s Matsya (fish) avatar, symbolizing Viraj’s role as a protector of his people, just as Matsya saved the world from a flood in mythology.
