The morning sun peeked through the curtains, bathing the flat in a soft glow as the boys began to stir. It had been a chaotic day yesterday, filled with laughter and relief after they revealed their prank on Y/N. They had pretended to be upset with her over something made up, keeping up the act all day, only to see her face melt into a mix of tears and relief when they finally confessed it was all a joke.

But they had forgotten one crucial thing: Y/N was not one to let things slide. And now, it was her turn to get them back.

It all started that evening after their prank reveal. As the boys drifted off to sleep, still chuckling about how they had managed to trick Y/N, she was already planning her revenge. She reached out to Lou Teasdale, their hairstylist, and her best friend, with a plan so good that even Lou was hesitant at first.

"Are you sure about this, Y/N?" Lou asked over the phone, her voice laced with concern. "They're going to freak out if you go through with it." She pointed out.

Y/N's laugh was soft but determined. "Oh, I'm sure. It's a little too much, I know, but after the stunt they pulled yesterday? It's time they learn not to mess with Mummy Direction."

Lou sighed, but there was a smile in her tone. "Alright, I'm in. Let's make it unforgettable."

The next morning, Y/N woke up early, slipping out of the flat before any of the boys were awake. She made sure to leave her phone behind on purpose, propped on the couch where they would easily spot it. The boys always knew she never went anywhere without her phone, so this was the first breadcrumb to start sowing their worry.

She texted Lou one last time before leaving: "It's go time." Lou replied with a thumbs-up emoji and a wink.

As planned, Y/N had already arranged to meet Lou at an old, secluded warehouse on the outskirts of town—a place far enough away that it would take the boys some time to get there, especially in their panic.

By mid-morning, the boys were starting to wake up and wander into the living room. Niall was the first to notice Y/N's phone lying on the couch, its screen dark.

"Oi, lads!" he called out, holding up the phone. "Y/N left her phone here and she's not around." He trailed off.

Zayn, still groggy, rubbed his eyes. "That's odd. She never leaves without it."

Louis shrugged, trying to play it cool. "Maybe she just forgot. She's probably off doing some shopping or something."

But as the hours ticked by, there was still no sign of Y/N. Harry began pacing the flat, his worry growing by the minute. "She always texts us if she's going to be gone for this long. Something's not right."

As time went on, there were no signs of Y/N. She doesn't go out this long without letting them know or not having one of her friends inform the boys if she's with them. Their anxiety started to build up as they had heard no update about her.

By lunchtime, even Louis—usually the most carefree—was starting to look concerned. Liam, the designated "dad" of the group, tried to stay calm, but it was clear he was just as worried as the rest.

"Let's check with Lou," Liam suggested. "Maybe Y/N mentioned something to her."

He quickly dialed Lou's number, and she answered almost immediately. "Oh, hey, Liam! What's up? Everything alright?" she asked, her voice sounding casual—too casual. Liam turned the loudspeaker on for everyone.
