Ye Wenxin found the situation increasingly intriguing and quickly followed the crow, curious about where it was taking the pile of spirit stones. She trailed the crow for several hours around Cangyu Sect until it finally stopped and began rummaging through a pile of grass, pulling out a large jar.

The crow then tossed the spirit stones into the jar, reminding Ye Wenxin of the story "The Crow and the Pitcher." However, instead of water, the crow spat blue flames from its mouth, heating the jar and the stones within.

A strange yet pleasant fragrance filled the air, heightening Ye Wenxin's interest in the crow as she watched it roast the stones in the jar with its fire.

Several hours later, as night fell, the crow checked the contents of the jar. With its sharp beak, it reached into the jar and began drinking the liquid created from the roasted stones. After a few sips, it cawed contentedly and flapped its wings excitedly.

Ye Wenxin found this fascinating, but before she could ponder further, the crow lifted the jar with its claws and flew off again. Reluctantly, she followed, hoping to see where the crow was taking the jar this time.

This time, the crow flew into a cave, reducing Ye Wenxin's visibility. Cautiously, she advanced into the cave, only to find a woman lying there, motionless, her eyes closed. It was unclear whether she was dead or under some sort of enchantment. The crow circled the woman a few times before pouring the spirit-infused water over her.

Yet, the woman showed no response, causing the crow to become agitated, evidently concerned for her well-being.

Using her spiritual sense, Ye Wenxin detected the woman's weakening aura. Without intervention, she might truly perish in these mountains.

After a moment's thought, Ye Wenxin stepped forward, addressing the crow.

"Um... hello there, crow brother." she greeted awkwardly.

The crow, upon seeing a stranger, flapped its wings and attempted to attack Ye Wenxin. Its speed was impressive, forcing Ye Wenxin to dodge carefully. As she avoided the crow's attacks, she explained her presence.

"That woman is dying. If you don't want her to die, let me take a look," Ye Wenxin said while evading, unsure how much the crow could understand.

After a moment, the crow seemed to grasp her words. It stopped, glanced at Ye Wenxin, then back at the woman, and lightly flapped its wings.

Even a gentle flap stirred a small gust of wind, confirming to Ye Wenxin that the crow was likely the woman's pet, acting out of distress over its injured master.

Approaching cautiously, Ye Wenxin was momentarily stunned by the woman's beauty-a beauty so ethereal it seemed otherworldly. Even lying there lifeless, she resembled a celestial being.

If such a stunning woman remained unknown on the list of beauties, Ye Wenxin wondered just how exquisite Fairy Feng Ya must be. This thought spurred another suspicion.

"Could this be Fairy Feng Ya?" she asked the crow. The crow, however, responded with an irritated squawk, seemingly finding her question annoying.

Sighing, Ye Wenxin inspected the woman's delicate wrist.

"Her pulse is erratic; she's experiencing qi deviation!" Ye Wenxin was familiar with the term but had never seen someone in such a serene state during qi deviation-so calm it seemed as though she were merely asleep.
