"Finally, you are here!" Jay calls out to me from his hallway, coming to greet me.

Since my freak out with school, I have been trying to let go a bit more with my grades. I knew Nick was right before. It is my senior year, and I can't spend it all studying in my room.

"I made it!" I say, giving both him and Maddie a hug before closing the door behind me.

"Bro, so many people are here. Jay is hosting a killer function." Maddie says, giving jay a slap on the back.

"It's been a while since I have hosted, so I thought I should finally do it again."

The house was filled with almost our whole senior class. People I have only seen walking around the halls between periods.

"You want a drink?" Jay asks, walking over to the table filled with Truly's, beers and hard liquor.

'You know I don't drink." I say, giving him a glance.

"Ya well you said you were trying to let go a bit more, have some fun." He handed me a cup, filled with god knows what. "Come on. You can't go into college without taking a sip of alcohol." He pours himself his own cup, mixing truly with Titos.

I know I didn't need to drink this to prove anything. I really was letting go already and trying not to care so much, but I really didn't want to be the only sober one there. I take a big gulp from the red solo cup, making Maddie almost jump up and down from excitement.

"Finally!" she says, taking a sip from the cup as well. "I can't wait to see how you are drunk."

I give her a weak smile, trying to finish the cup off without tasting the disgusting liquid in front of me. A few drinks in I started socializing with people I didn't even know, probably making the worst impression ever saying I was on at least 4 shots by now. Maybe more. Most of the night was spent watching all the guys chug beer from Jays brothers Keg, while Maddie and I finished off a few more shots. It wasn't until everyone started migrating to the hot tub when my stomach started to feel like it was on fire.

"Izzy, let's change and go in." she says, trying to pull me upstairs.

I resist her arm tug, resting my head against the side of the wall.

"No, I don't feel good." I say, trying to make my way to the bathroom.

"Maybe you need to throw up. I always throw up after drinking a bit too much."

"No, Maddie I don't feel good." I feel as if I'm going to collapse on the floor from how much I had to drink, but I knew I couldn't let myself do that.

Maddie guided me to the bathroom, trying to hold my hair back as I started dry heaving into the toilet.

"Iz, let's call your brothers." She says, grabbing my phone from the floor.

"No!" I immediately yell, "They can't know. They will be pissed."

I try grabbing my phone from her hands, but she pushes it away.

"Izzy, you need to go home. You can't stay here especially if you are getting sick. They won't be mad."

I knew she was wrong. They have never been a fan of drinking. Especially after finding out I was at a party. But my stomach felt like it was about to explode.

"Okay, I'll call them." I mumble, grabbing the phone from her hand, pressing on Matt's number as it was most recent in my contacts.

"Kid, why are you calling me? It's like 1:00am." Matt says, sounding as if he just woke up.
