Part 1

"Don't worry. This will be good for you. I will reach there by tomorrow morning. "Okay, I will call you later in the car. Take care of yourself." Saying this, Manoj disconnected the call and reached home quickly.

(Manoj used to work in the Archaeology Department. He was very happy there. But he had to always stay out for this work.)

"Due to this, he got a call due to which Manoj had to go to Jammu. As soon as he reached home, he started packing.

"Hey Surekha, where have you kept my bag? "I am bringing it (Surekha called out)." Surekha handed over the bag to him and asked him to come home quickly. Manoj took his bag and came out of the house and sat in his car and started leaving, telling him to take care of himself. He saw his wife waving her hand from the side mirror of the car and left from there.

"After some time, the same man calls again. "Sir, please bring him here quickly, I cannot handle him for long. The enemies are looking for me. Manoj pacifies him and calmly tells him, "Don't worry, I am reaching there. I have left now, I will come to tomorrow morning. (Saying this, Manoj disconnected the call)
" Because of the cold weather, Manoj wanted to reach there as soon as possible. However, after some time, it was around 2 o'clock in the night and Manoj's condition was worsening because of the cold.
"For this reason, as soon as Manoj reached Jammu, he started looking for a hotel to spend the night. He saw a hotel at a little distance on the way; thinking that he would stay at this hotel tonight, Manoj drove the car towards the hotel.
"After reaching the hotel, Manoj got some relief from the heat of the heater. Manoj took the keys from the manager and came to his room." After looking at the room properly, he went to the bed there. Manoj fell asleep in a short while.

(At that time, there was a lot of terror of terrorists in Jammu. Although the army was active there, it was difficult to identify the terrorists as they used to wear normal clothes.)

"After some time, Manoj suddenly opened his eyes. And he took out his phone in which that man had made some missed calls. That is why Manoj called him. While talking on the call, Manoj told that he is staying in the hotel and he will reach tomorrow between 7 to 8 o'clock." And Manoj took care of him and put the phone down. Meanwhile, Manoj fell asleep again.
"After some time, suddenly someone started knocking on the door loudly. Manoj woke up and opened the door cautiously. The manager was standing in front with one of his colleagues, who had come to give the towel. Manager: Good morning sir, if you need any breakfast or anything else, please tell me. Manoj: Just bring a cup of tea. Saying this, he took the towel. The manager told his man about the tea order and left from there. Manoj looked at the watch tied to his hand and became worried, it was 6 o'clock in the morning. "Manoj closed the door in a hurry and went to take a bath. After bathing, he came out and started getting ready, meanwhile his eyes fell on the table next to him where the tea was kept.

" Manoj sat there and started drinking tea so that the tea does not get cold. It was 6 o'clock in the morning and it was getting light outside.

" After finishing the tea, Manoj was about to get ready and go out, when that man called again, Manoj picked up the phone and started telling him. I have left now and will reach soon. Manoj asked him his name. The man told Manoj his name as Sujan and his address. Manoj wrote it in his diary. And he started leaving from there.
""In a short while Manoj reached in front of Sujan's house. Sujan was a cute house made of wood. Sujan called him and asked him to park his car behind the house and come through the back door," Manoj quietly parked the car and came inside the house. He met a 25-26 year old boy. There that boy (Sujan) gave him tea and made him sit on the sofa lying there.

Manoj: Where is that leaf? (Manoj's voice came out a little loud due to cold)

(Sujan put a finger on her mouth and signaled him to follow her)

Manoj followed Sujan to the basement where there was a secret room. Sujan brought him there. There were some wooden boxes lying in the room and there were some weapons as well. Sujan picked up one of those boxes, underneath which there were many apples after moving the grass aside from the wooden box. On top of the same apples, a shiny golden leaf which was shining brightly was visible.
"Giving that leaf in Manoj's hand, Sujan said that is why I have called you here.

Manoj: What is this?

Sujan: I have called you for this question. Don't make the mistake of calling it gold, it does not tolerate any heat. It burns with sunlight.

Manoj: Where did you get it from? (To which Sujan replied) I found it in the tunnel of the old fort of our village.

Manoj: If this is not a gold leaf then I also do not know what it is. Are there any others?

Sujan: Maybe yes.

Manoj: How did you reach there? (Manoj said i showing interest in that leaf)

Sujan: This is a very long story. (Saying this, Sujan started telling him)
