"Why do you act like that?" Maya asked Tony as she slammed her office door.
"Act like what, Maya?" Tony responded. "You act like don't make mistakes! I told I'm sorry and that I will make it up to you but nooo you had to make a fucking scene!" Maya huffed.
"YOU FORGOT MY BIRTHDAY!" Tony yelled causing Maya to jump. Lia, Maya personal assistant was standing outside the door. she knocked.
"COME IN?!" Maya said still giving Tony a death stare. "Ummm...Madame Secretary? The President is on line two!" Lia poked her head in.
"Okay, will you show him out, please!" She asked Lia. "NO! IM NOT LEAVING TIL WE TALK!" Tony yelled.
"Tony, please I don't have the time for this right now! I really don't!" Maya sighed.
"MAKE TIME THEN! YOU ALWAYS PUSH ME ASIDE LIKE IM NOT YOUR HUSBAND!" He yelled as her staff rushed in.
That one cut like a knife in Maya. does he really feel like that way? what's happening to my marriage? "School shooting in Cape Town, South Africa. 20 kids dead, 23 injured, and the gun was from Iraq." Josh informed Maya.
Maya picked up the phone as Lia cut on the TV. "Madame President?!" She said. "Sis...we are looking at war between these to countries!" Kamala said.
"Oh my god..." Maya stomach turned as she looked at the pictures in the portfolio. "Meet me in Sit Room!" Kamala ordered before hanging up the phone.
"LOAD UP! SIT ROOM NOW! GO! GO! GO!" Lia yelled as the staff rushed out. Tony was standing there in stock, waiting.
"I'm sorry I've gotta go! See you at home!" Maya kissed his cheek before rushing off. "Love you!" Tony said. Maya didn't respond.
Few Hours Later...
"Hey...you okay? You seem off!" Lia asked Maya. "Yeah! I'm good!" Maya smiled. "Liar! I know you, Maya..." Lia said. "Talk to me..." Lia sat beside of her, resting her hand on her knee.
"It's Tony!" Maya sighed. "He's changed..." She said. "Are you sure it's not because of our..." Lia paused. "NO!" Maya yelled quickly. "That was a one time thing! I told you that!" Maya said. Lia smirked. "Stop it!" Maya said. "Now you know...It happened more than once." She said.
"When was the second time...?" Maya asked. Lia bit her lip. "Now..." She leaned in kissing Maya's lips. Maya closed her eyes, a relaxing feeling washing over her body.
"Don't let him get up under you skin, baby!" Lia said placing kisses along her jawline and down her neck, while undoing her unbutton up. "mm..." Maya hummed. Lia made her way down to Maya's chest, slide her bra off with a smile.
