As the group entered the cozy game shop
The familiar scent of old cards and polished wood greeted them
Instantly putting them at ease.
Yugi was the first to speak
His voice was bright and cheerful."Grandpa!" Yugi
He called out.
From behind the counter..
There was Solomon Muto..
There was he is..He looked up..
A warm smile spreading across his face."Well, if it isn't my grandson! How was school today?" Solomon
He asked.
"Pretty good," Yugi
He replied with a grin.
"Pretty much the same as always," Tea
She added... smiling and laughing
"But... we all had a great time together." Tea
"Seems like you guys had a calming chill day at school" Solomon
"No one wasn't doing anything much so we just went home and decided to just call it a day" Yugi
Solomon chuckled softly.
"It seems like you're all home early today" Solomon Muto
He remarked.
"We're not, Grandpa," Yugi
He explained softly.
"School just ended a minute ago" Yugi
"We just all decided to head home together so why not.." Tea
Joey chimed in with crossing his arms with a grin.
"I had to spend the rest of the school day dealing with quizzes and tests, but after that, I got to duel with Yugi. It was great—though Tristan kept getting on my case." Joey
"That's because you stink at it," Tristan
He teased flashing a mischievous grin.
"Hey! I'm just starting out, but I'll get better!" Joey
He shot back, his tone was determined.
"Calm down, you two," Yugi
He said with a laugh..
Shaking his head at their usual antics.
Tea sighed as she crosses her arms watching back-and-forth between Joey and Tristan."You two are always at each other's throats over the smallest things. Can't you just get along for once?" Tea
Joey threw up his hands in mock exasperation.
"Hey, don't blame me for that! If anyone's to blame, it's Tristan!" Joey
Tristan shot him a look.
"Oh, sure, blame me for everything. Classic Joey move." Tristian
Joey grinned, a little too smug.
"Well, you're the one who keeps starting it!" Joey
Tristan narrowed his eyes, his patience thinning.
"Oh, really? I'm the one starting it? Look who's talking!" Tristian
Tea rolled her eyes
Her patience running out.
It was always like this with those two.
She raises an eyebrow and smirks at Joey and Tristan."You guys might want to look for more friends if you boys keep this up," Tea
She teases while smirking at Joey and Tristan's endless bickering.
She laughed lightly...
Her amusement cleared as she continued to throw playful remarks their way."And what's that supposed to mean?" Joey
He shot back, crossing his arms defensively.
"Just saying, haha," Tea
She replied with a mischievous grin, shrugging innocently.
Before Joey could fire back
Yugi chimed in, turning toward the counter."Hey, Grandpa, can you show me and my friends your rarest card?" Yugi
He asked eagerly..
His eyes lighting up with excitement."My top-secret, prized treasure?" Solomon
MutoHe responded, raising an eyebrow as a playful smirk tugged at the corners of his lips.
"You sure you kids can handle it?" Solomon Muto
"We swear we won't tell anyone!" Yugi
He promised, his tone brimming with sincerity.
"If only you can give us a close look at that card," Joey
He added, leaning forward with interest.
"We won't tell, I promise!" Joey
Solomon chuckled, stroking his chin thoughtfully.
"Well, I suppose I'll show you, but remember, this is my most valuable treasure. It must be kept a secret—I can't just show it to anyone,"
Solomon Muto"Oh come on.. It won't be bad to let us take a peak" Tristian
"Well.." Solomon Muto
He said, his voice taking on a more serious tone.
The group nodded eagerly, their anticipation growing.
After a moment of consideration
Solomon smiled and relented." I can trust you kids. You've earned the right to see it. This will be your special surprise for you all today!" Solomon Muto
He reached under the counter...
Pulling out a small protective case.
The gang leaned in closer..
Their curiosity practically radiating from them.
Whatever Solomon was about to reveal..
They knew it was something extraordinary
